The location was perfect; walking distance to town, and the water. Close to the bike path that I did not use unfortunately and driving distance to other ocean views. The grounds were lovely as we had great weather and enjoyed the flowers, trees, and bird watching. The front porch was quite comfortable with rockers, lounges and glider. Tom was wonderful, answering all our questions and giving suggestions.

We had a 3rd floor room and it was quite comfortable, but just be sure you know there is no elevator. The bed was so high I needed a step-stool to get onto it. It might not be for everyone.

The breakfast every morning was phenomenal. Everything was handmade, with full wait staff service delivering hot, delicious meals to your table. It was an elegant but relaxed atmosphere. One of the owners, Tom, came to each table to meet his guests and ensure we were having a pleasant stay. The grounds were well cared for, and our room was very comfortable, with old-world charm with a very comfortable bed. Mary, the night concierge, was wonderful, providing excellent dinner ideas in downtown Falmouth, and Billy, the other owner, also provided us with great ideas for how to get the most of our weekend stay. We will love to come back again soon!

Conveniently located, the Inn is a short walk to the very charming shops and restaurants on Main Street of Falmouth, the shuttle to the Woods Hole ferry and about a 1 mile walk to the beach. Our hosts, Tom and Billy, as well as their dedicated staff went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we were comfortable in every way. The room was impeccably clean and we loved the amazing breakfasts served daily.

The Breakfast food offerings were Excellent and were only exceeded by the Exceptional Service and attention of your Wonderful Staff. The Location to downtown was Fantastic for walking to shops & Restaurants. The rooms and Private Bathrooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. The only Slight Negative we could find was that the rooms were Smaller than they appeared in your online photos but the size we should have expected from a house built in that time period. All the sitting room Furniture and deck seats were very comfortable.

Not HD TV. No big deal, but something we thought was a given in 2022.

The no hassle check in was great. We received a text the day of, letting us know what our room number was. The key was in the door waiting for us. Breakfast was cooked fresh. We stayed two nights. The first morning was fresh fruit cup, with your choice of eggs or pancakes with thick cut bacon. Morning two was blueberry, and cranberry muffins with ham and cheese omelets with fruit cup. juice and fresh brewed coffee.

The t.v was extremely small.

Palmer House Inn was the perfect location to get to shops, dining and beaches. This historical inn was in impeccable condition. The staff was accommodating with all our requests. The food was fantastic and served with care and a smile every day. Our room was cleaned everyday with care. We highly recommend the Palmer House Inn! We will be back! Thank you!

The kitchen staff and the Breakfast they prepared was the best we had been served and beyond our expectations. With there special care, I would have rated the visit as extremely poor.

The Breakfast staff redeemed the visit, they were best ever. There was no one to greet us when we arrived or to thank us when we departed. They didn't tell a room number, they told us to go upstairs and it was the room with th keys in the door. When we came down and told them we loved the room, they said that wasn't ours,, ours was down the hall in the old section.. it was much smaller and not nearly as nice. They did not give us the night door code or show us th common areas or Breakfast aea. Their was hardy anyone ever at the front desk. In our "new room" the bathroom was small with no counter top and the smallest sink I had ever seen. The sink was slightly larger than the one on our flight down. The closet seemed to be under the stair well and only provided for reach in hanging.

Excellent support staff and Inn owners. Delicious breakfast, with early riser AM coffee available. Had a Jazz quartet playing on the porch one night served with wine and homemade banana bread. Superb addition and an unexpected delight. Location is unbeatable, one can literally walk throughout Falmouth 5 + minutes away. Easy driving access to beach or Woods Hole. Convenient off-street parking is available.

We stayed in the adjacent Guest House to the Main bldg. Its a newer building and the sound conduction from the shower above our room was quite loud. Not a problem unless other guests shower late at night. Bed was a bit too soft for our taste, but each to their own. Finally because of the staircase, not for the mobility challenged.

Falmouth is a great city and Palmer House enabled being right in the center - convenient walking distance to all of downtown. It gave a "family inn" atmosphere, you could feel the attention to detail that permeates a family inn. Net resullt, Palmer House became an integral part of the enjoyment of Falmouth and not just a tag-along place to stay.

Possibly could have upgraded to a bit larger room but not a "didn't like" but more of a search to answer the question.

Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. The room was charming, very comfortable and the breakfast was quite substantial. Location was perfect! - super easy to do a daytrip to Martha's Vineyard, quick walk to Main Street dining and easy access to Shining Sea Bikeway was fantastic.

only two nitpicky things...Lighting in the room wasn't ideal, AC in hallway seemed set to 60 degrees.
