Holiday Inn Express - Ludlow - Chicopee Area, an IHG Hotel

Clean and comfortable with easy in and out. I went for only one night for my birthday as a get away treat. Had provided amenities like shampoo conditioner and shower gel and easy walking distance from taco bell and like not even a minute drive from big y.

I loved the idea of the in shower mounted amenities, however i couldn't use them as i couldn't turn them to read the ingredients and have a severe coconut allergy. Tub was a little small and could barely hold water before the overflow tank took it

Breakfast was great - especially the wonderful woman who was in charge of it and the people that worked it. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, and waited until the last minute to shut down breakfast. I have never been somewhere that they didn't start cleaning up at least 15 minutes prior. All of the staff, from cleaning people to maintenance were friendly and very helpful!

I did see a few mice/rats run around the property, but being so close to the woods, I'm not sure there is anything they can do about that. :)

We have stayed at this property at least twice per year since the spring of 2018 when we took out daughter to Western New England University for an open house. The only time we did not stay was during 2020 due to the pandemic. The staff has always been welcoming and helpful, the property clean and comfortable, and the value exceptional. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the general Springfield area. Our daughter graduated this weekend so we will no longer be traveling back to Ludlow, but it will remain a happy place in our college years memory book!

Quiet, and clean, staff was very accommodating, Includes breakfast buffet, with good hours of availability. Indoor pool and gym.

The cost to stay is higher than most of the surrounding area hotel/motels. Find that almost 3/4 of the others in the area, are priced more reasonable. There should be a discount offered if was staying for a extended days, so that if a family wanted to stay a week, compared to just a day or 2. One could feel they did not have to pay too dollar for all days of their stay. Especially mid week when most of hotel was vacant. Just a value discount would of went a long way for consumers to pick this property over many competitors in the market place where this one is located. Breakfast was good.. a lot to chose from Staff was amazing & Very friendly Towels and washcloths were ALWAYS available My security deposit was cut in half because the website did not mention it at first Location was also great, lots of food places and amenities

The housekeeping was every 5 days instead of everyday.

A nice hot breakfast was on offer. Passionfruit juice was available in addition to orange juice. A good selection of tea was offered. The AC worked well, the blind darkened the room nicely.

We were initially offered a musty smelling room which was promptly changed when we complained of the fact. It seems reservations made through Booking.com are offered problematic rooms rather than those booked directly through IHG. We encountered this at another IHG property as well.

Excellent location right by the highway, so perfect for an overnight stop. Room was great, very clean, good air conditioning, very comfortable bed. Good bathroom and shower. Very friendly staff.

Need more vegan options for breakfast like non-dairy milk. Having fresh fruit and oatmeal was great!

The room was fine. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff was efficient, friendly,and professional. The ladies in dining area in particular made our day.

Rooms very expensive, but in line with most of the area for this type of hotel.

Close to a great Italian restaurant. Included breakfast was fine. Easy access to lacrosse tournament. The rather spacious bedroom could be completely closed off from the sofa bed in the suite and had a separate heat pump for separate sleeping temperatures.

All staff was very friendly and helpful, room was very clean. Love the shampoo, conditioner and body wash pumps in the shower. Love that you had soy milk as an option at breakfast (most hotels don't).

There was no hot breakfast on the Friday of our stay so that was a bummer. Also I was unaware I had to request room service so I had to go get extra garbage bags, etc and take my garbage down. That is really the only complaints.
