Beacon Pointe on Lake Superior

Lakeside room was right on the water, could walk out to the rocks by the waters edge from our 1st floor patio door, only 50 feet away. Very quiet and peaceful, great place rest and relaxation away from the noise of the city, room had a little kitchenette with cups/plates/bowls/silverware, extra perk we didn't expect! The coffee from the grab and go breakfast in the lobby tasted amazing, duluth's best coffee!

The TV wasn't hooked up properly, had to reconnect hdmi cords ourselves, no fan in bathroom

Beautiful setting as always with amazing staff. Love that it’s close to attractions yet quiet and right on the lake. Definitely need to get a room with a balcony for that lake experience…waves lapping in sound so serene. My favorite getaway in Duluth. Will always go back!

I wish the DVD players were already hooked up. Would be great for the kiddos to just pop a movie in without the adults wondering what to do. Office staff were helpful though! We were also confused about how to close the shades. Some instructions near the buttons would be helpful. Otherwise GREAT property that we recommend to many people!!

As always, incredible views of Lake Superior. Recent lobby renovations have modernized it a bit. The facilities have been falling in quality for several years, but they appear to be on the upswing.

There were a few little broken things in the room (e.g. the bathroom sink was clogged up and backflowing dirty water - sort of gross but not a HUGE problem). I wish they still had hot breakfast but the "grab and go" options are fairly good.

Clean and comfortable, with an amazing view and an accommodating, polite staff. Close to everything we love about Duluth, including the Lakewalk.

We didn’t realize the heated underground parking doesn’t have enough spaces for all the guests and is on a first come first serve basis. We had to park outside one of the nights, which wasn’t a big deal, simply unexpected. The parking spaces were only a few steps from the door.

simply put, everything! such an amazing place to visit and get away from it all. from the clean and comfortable rooms to the beautiful facilities. location is perfect and the view is spectacular. the prices are great and and the accommodations are perfect. the heated garage is great in the winter. pool, hot tub and sauna were wonderful and the breakfast is perfect. staff goes above and beyond for the guests and are always pleasant.

The room was so much better than I expected. It felt like I was walking into a very nice apartment rather than a hotel. It was spacious and had a homey feeling. The staff were so nice and helpful.

We wanted to run the a.c. to cool the room down after using the jacuzzi, but the remote to it was very complicated, and everything we tried didn't work. Thankfully, it was early spring, so we opened the patio door to help it cool down.

We loved everything about this place. The staff was stellar. The fire pit was great, it was so nice and quiet there, and the s'mores and the free bikes were a great touch. Breakfast grab and go was perfect for our morning. We can't thank Beacon Pointe enough for everything!!

View was spectacular of Lake Superior and Canal Park. Loved all the windows. Room was very clean. Loved the view in the air tub room and that we could open the window. Shower in the bathroom was very nice - loved all the shower heads.

Several disappointments for the price. Didn’t realize the Penthouse Suite we stayed in didn’t have a fireplace. Had to go up several stairs beyond the third floor to get to our suite. No table on our “rooftop” patio - only chairs. Doors to the 3rd floor rooms were very noisy when opening and closing. Ice and vending was located on the first floor only. Toilet “groaned” every time it was flushed. Air tub was very noisy and not heated. Breakfast was only grab & go prepackaged items. Parking was less than ideal.

I just loved the lake view from my room that i booked it n I have to updated my room which has a lake view n it’s cost like $80 per day n also little expensive. But I’m so happy n satisfied that i got what i wanted n also my honey too. So, over all I’ve enjoyed the view a lot n also the jacuzzi too. I just loved it 😍

It’s didn’t have a much trash bin 🗑 and also thinking if they could’ve a better face soap and hand soap and stuff. Otherwise all okay.

I loved the lake front view along with the full kitchen and everything you need to cook a home meal. We are very satisfied with the customer service from the hotel, everything we needed was received. Pool, hot tub, and sauna was awesome after work and great for family with children. Also the underground parking was awesome for the cold mornings. We will stay there again in the future!
