Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Missoula

We all had a blast on the waterside but disappointed it didn’t open until 4:30 each day. breakfast was great.

The room we got said it slept 6 people. we thought it had 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper but there was no sofa sleeper. We asked how that room could sleep 6, and they said 3 to a bed! The picture online is misleading as it showed 2 beds and a sleeper. The front desk lady said there are no rooms with 2 beds and a sleeper. We went to Walmart and bought a $20 air mattress.

The rooms and bathroom was we’ll appointed, immaculate. love the new baggage carts , thanks for rethinking them.

The only disappointment was that booked it with breakfast included so I didn’t mind the upcharge for the room in this size city. The disappoint was the text message later after paying for the room that breakfast was cancelled due to some renovations the hotel was doing. That felt a bit untransparent, just tell me upfront. With that said the team did offer some breakfast fruit and muffins to grab n go. That was thoughtful.

Breakfast was still being served to you instead of buffet. But foods were still good and the server was very pleasant and helpful. Room was a great size but they gave us the handicapped accessible room which had some interesting features. The laundry facilities were nice and priced well. Very quiet.

Because it was a handicapped room the sink faucets would not stay on. When I took a shower there was a lot of dark long hair still on the shower wall. I have grey hair. Refrigerator temperature a bit warm. All else was fine.

the staff is very pleasant and helpful, the rooms are large, clean, and have comfortable beds. The water park is fun for kids, though when it’s crowded it’s very noisy and chaotic. The pool is just for the water slides, so don’t expect to swim. The fitness center is quite nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing, really

Room was great, breakfast was very good and the bed was very comfortable. Also, the location was very convenient right by the freeway and airport. Our Kids loved the water slide.

I had wished there was sparkling water in the convenience store...there was only regular water available. A little more variety of drinks would be nice.

Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, very nice hotel. The staff was very friendly.

Very disappointed that never was it mentioned when booking that the hotel was under construction. When checking in we were told that the usual continental breakfast would not be available. Instead, they had apples and store- bought granola bars, no beverage option. Overpriced rate for 6 hours of sleep :(

Good location and airport shuttle

I booked on booking.com but didn't know that park and fly wasn't an option unless the room is booked directly with the hotel. We arrived expecting to use park and fly and fly out early the next morning. It was stressful to be told we couldn't. The desk clerk did tell us if we canceled with you then we could register for the same room with them and do park and fly. So I spent about 30 minutes on the phone to cancel. I thought it was all taken care of but was still charged twice for my room, had to call again and wait for the refund. It did all work out eventually.

kids love the waterpark. staff were fast to respond to our concern. we were able to transfer to another room due to toilet not flushing good.

we were not aware that it’s undergoing renovation. we only had pastries and fruits for breakfast. no other choices.

The best breakfast we have had at a hotel since covid. It says it is continental sack. The options were egg, cheese on English muffin or breakfast burrito. With tons more options. I got the king suite..absolutely beautiful! Roomy!! Such a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. Smells clean and fresh without heavy perfumes. We are both so sensitive to fragrances...I would stay here everytime in Missoula Montana. Oh the swimming pool is the best I have ever seen. The kids will love it. Also signs reminding people to be quiet and respectful in the halls.

Only the funky road getting here. We have a semi pulling a trailer. Also if u want to be in town in the main hub this wouldn't be for you.

This property has a good location for the airport and for an on-off interstate driving stay. It was easy to find and out of the way of the main town. Rooms were clean but a bit dated, especially the bathrooms. Not much in the way of food in the surrounding areas.

Breakfast was difficult due to covid 19. They did not have any decaf coffee. I can not believe how much single use plastic is used every day during that breakfast. I have stayed at other properties where the breakfast was organized better even in the time of Covid 19.
