Motel 6-Reno, NV - Livestock Events Center

The room was clean and the motel was close to downtown Reno. We were able to walk to downtown Reno everyday. The motel staff were friendly. I liked that our room was on the second floor. The value for location and room was great!

It was cold during the night so you needed to turn the heat on in the room. The blankets were not thick enough. We didn't know to turn the heat on during our first night but did that for every other night. We stayed in Reno at the end of March and it was cold even for us Canadians. :)

The location was very convenient, right off the freeway and close to downtown and the venue where I saw a concert. This is also the second nicest Motel 6 I have ever stayed at, being clean inside and out.

The only thing I would complain about is the fact that my payment method was utilized before I arrived and I had a late check-in. That was completely unexpected as I have not experienced this with any other motel/hotel where I have made a reservation.

Pet friendly, cold AC, ice available 24/7, excellent staff, good parking

Pool closed all 8 days, bathroom sink was gross, faucet difficult to turn on/off, the cable and internet service were interrupted at least once daily, there were only a few channels, none of the buttons on the bottom half of the remote worked including YouTube, and Netflix.

I was there for 6 days, and not once did I get room service. I asked for fresh towels on the 3rd day. Nobody came in to clean up after I asked. They said they had me on the schedule. Had this been done, it would have been a perfect score.

The room was very clean; and the air conditioning well-cooled the room on the hot days! And, the cable TV was good; a lot of channels I like to see.

When I took one load of luggage out to my car on check-out day, the key-card to re-enter and get the other stuff didn't work. When I had the card-key re-set at the front desk, it didn't work the first time! I had to go back and get it done AGAIN; a real hassle!!

I had plan to visit Reno on the way back from Yellowstone to San Jose. I found this motel at a very cheap price.. This is very next to the reno downtown as well a highway 80. If you dont like to drive to downtown you have buses to and from from this location to center of Reno to visit El-Dorado, Circus-Circus or world famous Reno Arch.. I love staying in Motel6 which is another reason for booking this place. This is very much worth for the money you pay. Rooms are great and clean. They are covid-19 prepared but yet I prefer to sanitize on my own for my satisfaction and safety. I highly recommend for anyone who are looking for a overnight stay in Reno.

The assistant manager is wonderful 👍. Helped out and got me a better price for an extended stay. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming and willing to make sure my stay was comfortable.

Nothing really to complain about. Only negative was climbing upstairs.

This property has been updated with a nice shower and good size refrigerator and small microwave. During our stay we had activities near Truckee and Incline Village, so it was a great choice. Denny’s is a short walk away so we had most breakfasts there.

Being convenient and close to the freeway means that you have to accept the occasional loud vehicle noises. The two double beds were against the walls, so could only be accessed from one side. Not convenient to get up during the night if you need to go to the bathroom!

the area was a little rough but not to bad to the point I had to watch out for my self over all stay was great n staff was awesome

Check in was super-fast. Facility was nice. Easy to get to from the highways into the city. Good pricing.

There was no breakfast, due to covid, which is fine by me. All was good except the bed needed to be changed because you could feel the springs. It's a good idea to allow cleaners to spend a little more time per room because there was some lint and a random kiwi fruit under the bed. The rest of the room was clean so I think this is a case of only giving the cleaners so long to do each room. Please do not reprimand the cleaner for this!
