I liked how spacious the room was; three of us stayed in a 2-queen bedroom and never felt cramped or like we had to move out of the way for each other. The view was amazing, can't believe how lucky they are to have the Reno sign right outside. I was also able to pick up food from the cafe which was a little pricey however also just downstairs which is convenient (also it tasted good).

If possible it would be great if the cafe remained open later, even if it's only for take out. I would have loved to order a late dinner however I was heading back to the hotel at 9:35 and knew I wouldn't make it before closing. Unfortunately, I had to stop somewhere outside and the food couldn't compare with the food at the cafe.

Dog friendly and dog park is just outside. Our cattle dog loved his complimentary swag bag and made a beeline to the the cookies upon each return to the beautiful lobby. The restaurant is very nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. Loved the water bottle fill up on the floors to reduce plastic bottle usage. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Great location, easy walk over to Riverwalk dining. Loved being downtown and casino adjacent without having to stay in a hotel with a casino - much more relaxing.

Dining room information was not in the room. We didn't realize the restaurant was closed late morning (10am I think) until dinner. We had to go drive in the snow to pick up breakfast/lunch.

I have been staying at the Whitney Peak since they opened in 2014 (I was so excited to find a hotel in Reno that wasn't a casino!) - and it has just gotten better over time. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, very clean, and nicely decorated and all of the staff is friendly and professional. We love the location - we can easily walk to the River Walk, the Nevada Museum of Art and some of our favorite restaurants (we also love the restaurant in the Whitney Peak). It's also a great value.

It would be great if they added technology charging stations to the room - and the free internet is kind of slow. Everything else is pretty perfect.

Huge room. Perhaps the largest non-suite room we've encountered. Everything was clean and well-kept. The lack of gaming in this hotel is a plus from our perspective. We had dinner in the cafe and enjoyed it. The service was very attentive and the pricing was quite reasonable. The wine list had interesting choices. We each picked a by-the-glass red that was very enjoyable and reasonably priced. Overall this was a very enjoyable experience.

The road noise on our Friday night stay was intense at times. There seemed to be one or more large groups of motorcyclists for whom exhaust mufflers are just not a thing! I have no idea how a hotel could really make this better, unless they went to totally sound-proofed rooms.

I loved this hotel!! Everything about it was top notch. Our room was on the ninth floor, and was huge! Nice very comfortable king bed, fridge, large TV, tub… and the view of downtown was amazing! I was hesitant about booking when reading some of the reviews, but so glad I did! The entire hotel was clean and beautiful. And the climbing gym was really cool! Made me wish I was a climber!

The parking garage is a bit of a walk, but it’s not bad. They have valet if you need it.

I was very impressed! We had heard there was a lot of homelessness in Reno and yes, that is true. The guests staying in this hotel were regular, everyday folks. The closest casino was across the street and had a Starbucks. This is a dog friendly hotel and a nice dog park is on the corner.. We were on the 12th floor and when the dogs needed to go out in the middle of the night, I didn't have a scary feeling. There were some homeless people out and about, all hours of the day. The "Biggest Little City in the World" sign is right there on the corner which keeps things well illuminated. I would definitely stay here again. My husband ordered a hamburger from the on site restaurant and he said it was the best he has ever had.

The parking garage was kitty-korner, across the street.

great location, clean, tidy, excellent valet, decent on site gym (minus water or cleaning wipes) and the restaurant did great breakfast, lunch & dinner options.

Poor WiFi, had to pay more for faster WiFi, however it failed for 2 days so we where all given the business wifi which was much better. Noisy lift chimes - at least turn down the db’s between 10pm - 6am Odd TV channels - some kind of free EPG / sat thing, many channels scrambled or with weak signal lack of washing powered in guest laundry vending machine - it had ran out but would still take your money and wasn’t stocked up all week. lack of cleaning wipes or fresh water in the gym, so unable to clean down machines after exercise aka not very covid safe. Bar closed by 10-11pm so not where to grab a late night drink and or coffee and additionally no room service.

- Power plug in the desk didn't work, had to unplug the minifridge to get power - Bedspread on second bed had a bloodstain - Could have used a menu for the bar in the room. When I needed breakfast on the day of my departure, I had to go down, order, and sit and wait until it was done. And they included lots of ketchup and jellies, but no salt or pepper and the eggs were unseasoned. Everything else was wonderful, staff were great, rock climbing was fun, room was clean, location was perfection.

Your staff was amazing when we wanted an early check-in. They allowed us to check in early plus they put our two rooms together for us without even being asked to do so. It was awesome. Our entire stay was amazing.

Our room was so hot when we got there. It was like in the '80s. We turned the air conditioner up but it took forever to make the room cooler. I am pretty sure it is just the sun beating in on that side of the hotel but maybe check the air conditioner in room 1426. That was the only issue we had the whole time we were there. Other than that a great stay!

Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant enough and restaurant servers were excellent (Emily & Skylar) were awesome. There for two Happy Hours and met Emily the 2nd time as a patron. Location is right on the strip with easy access to everything (that's not shut down). Amenities (gym was very good though bikes needed servicing) added feature for interested folks were there climbing walls (from novice to serious).

View of back alley and roof tops of adjacent buildings and bathtub was very slow to drain. Downtown Reno is less than desirable as many places appeared shut down with the usual homeless abound. Though hotel nice, a poor location. Pricewise the hotel is more than others.
