A great value when you’re favorite four-star hotels are sold out on a Saturday night. The building is a former four-star hotel that was turned into luxury apartments and a basic guest suites hotel. Non-Smoking, No-Casino, no amenities or on site restaurants and is basically only the very clean nice room with a mini fridge and view. NO RESORT FEES. We felt very safe inside the building as the building doors are closed after 8pm and you have to use your hotel key to enter the building so GUESTS ONLY at night. Great service from Hassan the valet who helped get us situated when we arrived. Self parking across the street is free, but for $10 you can have valet with in and out privileges (valet is way better as parking yourself-wish we did that instead). Casinos, restaurants and Reno Aces Stadium are all within walking distance. There is a microwave in the lobby to warm food and also snacks and drinks for sale.

Driving up to check in, the driveway to pull up is narrow. The outside needs so updating, but once you are inside it’s nice and clean.

Like other reviewers before me, I have to say that the front end staff (including security) were TOP NOTCH! From the moment of check-in to the 3 diff times I required replacement key cards because I lost mine lol to when I requested an extra hour at check out time, they were consistently kind, helpful & smiling. Thank you for that. I had to change from my double full room to a king room so we could have a rollaway bed (can't use in double room due to fire code) & they took care of it immediately so by the time I pulled my bags from my car, my new room was ready with extra bed. Speaking of the extra bed, that thing was the most comfy rollaway I ever laid on! It wasn't a thin mattress but a full thickness twin mattress. Extra points for that one! They are doing some work still in the hotel but it made no diff to us & I never noticed. Can't wait to return to Reno Suites in near future to enjoy another comfortable stay! Hope they continue to offer no resort fee!! That's what brought me there & that's what would keep me coming back too! Resort fees are bogus and Reno Suites doesn't charge them!

Wish there were suites available thru hotel booking. Wish there were microwaves in the rooms but they do offer 24° free use of a lobby microwave. Wish parking was a little closer but it's not THAT inconvenient, just a small walk which wouldn't kill me to walk a bit anyhow lol like a short block walk to the parking garage across the way then up the elevator. Parking garage was secure, had no probs at all. PS: not unlike many other reviewers, I found the pillows to be of subpar quality. Having already read these reviews prior to our stay, I knew ahead of time to bring my own so I just brought a small one & that made a world of difference.

The staff were helpful

I didn't care for the parking being around the corner from the hotel, I didn't feel like it was safe to get in the elevator, the parking garage area appeared unkempt, I didn't like the fact that there were people hanging out accross the street from the hotel & a homeless person sleeping on the sidewalk close to the hotel; there were very few things to pick from for food; the hotel is overpriced d/t to being in an area that made me feel uncomfortable

I liked the spacious bedroom and bathroom! Appointments are nice, all surfaces CLEAN. I wasn’t squeamish to be barefoot. Both evening and morning desk staff exceptional, security good. Downtown near casinos, parking close and EASY. The street might seem a little scary to some but wasn’t a problem. The pho place across the street seemed popular (I didn’t go but it was full). I would have checked out the local color but was there to work and was tired after. Happy to trade a microwave in the room and breakfast for paying a resort fee. I wish I had booked both my nights in town there.

Dish signal went out but desk offered immediate maintenance attention. I didn’t really care, I had plenty to do.

The hotel is not bad - it's just scary in its lack of any personality. The stuff was good. A cookie-cutter windowless las Vegas international style building. So if you just need a place to stay quick - it works. You have to park across the building in a multi-level car garage. The stuff is nice. One thing - if you book through booking.com you can't extend without being present which was super uncomfortable for me.

Most of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves are nice for the right price. And the hotel has inexpensive bottled water, snacks, and free fresh brewed coffee. Overall the staff being so nice, made staying there worth it. The security does a good job keeping the doors closed and locked at night for safety.

This hotel isn't the in most prominent area, but not the worst either. At night, it's becomes a bit like gotham city if you venture to far. The parking situation isn't ideal 😕. You have to park across the street, but they will give you a cart to use, as long as you have an ID as deposit.

the staff is professional. As a travel agent and nationwide network family owned M/WBE operated electrical E-VERIFED contractor privacy is important to me. The beds are very comfortable as a pregnant woman about to give birth to amazing surprise after 24 years high risk who lives life in travels commissions earned by staying in and booking for myself family, friends and clients (housing) (vacation packages) and world travel experiences and so much more 7 - 9 months out of the year. I'm always looking to be inspired and to make it that much more when I come home to Reno. I don't just stay in my apartment I love the comfort of the hotel lifestyle and guest services is a plus . Comfort and safety over everything "my view on" the 23rd fl. is spectacular for these conditions to come into immediate contracts for CWEPGROUPHOMESNV

I didn't care for the no microwave in rooms, beds need to go up in size. lighting is not conducive needs upgrading for all functionality. I would love an opportunity to look over the plans!

The room was quiet. The view was great. The bed was large and comfortable if you like a large bed. It seems like a hotel that has not changed much, but there are modern conveniences like you can watch your Netflix or YouTube accounts if you have them.

Bring your own soap. There was face soap and shampoo in the room. The front desk staff is a little scattered. I had to ask the front desk personnel a question. I asked the same question about 5 times to them before they told me an answer. There was a language barrier, but I asked an industry standard question that was super simple. There is a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee. You may have to ask for a cup and coffee at the front desk. It was advertised as having breakfast, but all they had was coffee in a pot.

The hotel is simple but very clean and beds are comfortable. It feels safe for a solo woman traveller. The staff was very kind and helpful. I had some enquiries before arrival and they always got answers to my questions. Location is conveniently close to the airport, about 10 min ride.

The corridor smelled a little bit like cigarette even if is a non-smoking environment.

Clean room, exceptional staff (kind, efficient, resourceful, fun!), close to so many venues, (4 miles from airport); great prices!

Smoke fills the hallways, waifs into non-smoking rooms, the elevators. It is overwhelming. Smoking is allowed in the lobby while you’re checking in; it’s allowed near non-smoking rooms; pretty sure people smoke in the elevators — very uncomfortable. why advertise non-smoking rooms if you have to walk through it to get anywhere.
