Starlight Lodge North Conway

Clean, cozy, and nicely decorated room with an electric fireplace and flatscreen tv. They texted us our room number and door code 1.5 hrs prior to check in which we loved. Everything was redone since our stay in 2018 and it’s gorgeous. Next time we’ll get a room out back and be closer to the three fire pits and grills.

Housekeeping knocked and then began opening the door at 9:30am while we were still sleeping, which was alarming. Check out isn’t until 11am. Do Not Disturb signs would be nice. It was also a bit loud in the morning because I think you could hear everyone’s screen doors closing. Not a huge deal, but it did wake us up a few times.

we stayed in the suites( 11 & 12 with the double doors to connect to each other) the location was perfect! the staff was the most polite, friendly and extremely welcoming family (there were 2 that weren’t the most friendly) ! the VIEW is gorgeous from either side. super clean, stocked with everything you need except food! they are renovated, walk-in showers (great water pressure :)) they have everything you could think of- coffee & fixins in the lobby fresh every morning, snacks (our teens weren’t shy)! s’mores set up in bags to go, extra firewoood provided on the side and already set up for a fire in the firepit. it was easy for our disabled parents to get around and our baby (almost 9 months) had a blast- the pack n play was like brand new!

The accommodation wasn't cheap, but it was the coziest place on our 3.5 week round-trip in northeast USA. Lots of space, good beds, there was always coffee available at the reception, and there was a big garden where you could chill out at the fire in the evening.

Some things were missing in the kitchen when cooking myself and pans were a bit small, but there's really nothing else I can think of and it certainly didn't make it less great to stay here.

We booked 2 rooms for a family of 4 and our small dog. I was impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The fridge and microwave were very useful to us. The staff were super-friendly and helpful too. The location was ideal for our winter activities so it provided an easily accessible base. I would certainly choose it again and will now try Starlight Lodges in other places as I move around for my work

Very little we didn't like. The only minor things were that one of the beds was quite noisy when either person moved in one room. The same room also had a fridge that wanted to freeze everything even at a reduced setting. Maybe we should have dialed it down even further. As I say, minor things.

The room was comfortable and access directions were very clear. The office was closed, so I have nothing to report about any services or stuff, we did not see anyone. However to the property owners credit, we found a nice surprise outdoors, on the back of the property. We liked a lot the creatively designed and decorated walkway, with beautiful whimsical miniature sculptures featured along the way on both sides, wonderful fire pits and seating around them and even a short but very enjoyable loop hike. Next time we will definitely get a room on the back and stay longer than one night. Hopefully by then the office will be operating normally. It would be fantastic to get a cup of freshly brewed coffee right there. There is a coffee maker in the room of course for those travelers who prefer it.

It was very hot in the room even though the outdoor temperature at night was in the 50s. The heaters were off, and adjusting the thermostat did not help, so we had to open windows for the night.

For a motel, this place is fabulous. It is decorated in a way that I've never seen a motel decorated. A large king sized bed, large tv, a couple of chairs & table, a 1980 bathroom and great view. It was a perfect place to lay my head for one night. Very nice check in staff, ice available in a cooler, clean and cozy.

The AC sounds like a jet engine getting ready to take off...but I like noises to help me sleep. Let's just say I did not hear one noise from the busy road!

We loved our stay! We will definitely stay here again! The room was very comfortable and the fireplace and all the little touches that they put in the room were awesome. It was decorated very nicely. You could tell that it is important to them that their guests are comfortable! I loved the stools that were there to help us get into the very high bed!

The bathroom window didn’t work correctly.

everything!! from the moment we arrived the couple in charge of the property where so welcoming! I’ve honestly never stayed at a property that had such kind and caring staff! they offer coffee every morning and donuts on Saturday. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The fire pits on the property are an amazing added touch as there are three to choose from. not to mention the AMAZING sunsets and Mountain View’s. Honestly can’t wait to visit again!!!

We had a great experience staying at the Starlight! The room was awesome…bed was cozy, the furnishings looked new! There was a fire pit behind the office where we met fabulous guests and sipped wine. The staff was so accommodating! They had coffee every morning and pastry. The location was great. Breakfast at table and Tonic and a Organic Grocery store and a brewery (Moat Mtn) which is a full restaurant all in walking distance! Stay here!

The room felt very clean upon entering, the staff was warm and welcoming, the location was great. loved the larger mini fridge with freezer in our room. very nicely put together and felt updated. it was also very quiet the two nights we stayed which was nice, almost felt like we were the only people there!

We did find a potato chip on the side of the bed that did not belong to us but it wasn’t detrimental to our stay.
