This property was chosen because it is located near the White Mountains. Jackson is a very quaint, pleasant community that offers many options for meals, outdoor activities, shopping and other recreational opportunities. The innkeeper was most gracious and clearly stated all instructions, which mostly was, "Have a good time here!" Their motto states that you will come as a guest and leave as a friend. They exceeded expectations. This is a beautiful old house - you can read the website and there's nothing more that can be added, other than the description is accurate. Our room was spacious, well-decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. It is a very quiet location, the overall atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. If staying in a classy old house is more your speed than a chain hotel, then this is where you want to come. You won't be disappointed. The town is a wonderful place to explore, especially the nearby falls. The Inn at Jackson offers a delicious made-to-order breakfast every day in the spacious dining area. Coffee, juice and freshly cooked scones are prepared for early risers. They also offer a fridge and other amenities for those who want to bring their meals in the evening back to the Inn, and we took advantage of that several times during our stay. Special Note: My wife's birthday fell on one of the days we stayed at the Inn, and they went out of their way as a host to celebrate her, including a special candle for breakfast, a card and fresh cut flowers in a vase on her dresser when we returned to our room. I had not prearranged this - they did this entirely on their own. All in all, staying at the Inn at Jackson was the highlight of our vacation travel to the White Mountains this summer. I cannot express enough thanks for the entire staff, especially the Innkeeper. If we come back to this part of the northeast again, we'll return to the Inn.

The Inn is absolutely charming in every aspect. The Inn Keeper, Michelle is a wonderful hostess. She was very welcoming and she makes the best blueberry scones you will ever taste!! The Inn was bigger than we anticipated and was booked to capacity, however, we never heard any of the other guests and only saw them in the morning at breakfast. There was plenty of room for breakfast and guests had their choice of 3 sittings. Breakfast on both days was wonderful. As we were travelling with another couple, we were able to play a board game in the evening. All four of us were more than satisfied with the inn and hope to return for another stay in the future.

Everything was great and I don't think anything could have been better.

A very charming inn that is deceptively large: plenty of rooms. They have ample space for relaxing in common areas, including a very cozy den area with comfy seating, puzzles, and games. There is also a bar area (BYOB) that has coffee, a fridge, and freezer whenever you need it. The staff, particularly the innkeeper Michele, are very friendly and accommodating. It's in a beautiful location; you can see the White Mountains from the porch, and it's very close to town. It's nice that it's just for adults/couples, so you don't have to worry about loud noises from kids. The rooms were comfortable. We'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area.

The rooms were a bit outdated and one of our window shades didn't work, but otherwise we loved it.

my wife and I loved everything about this place. the style of the building, the quiet and relaxed atmosphere, everything is low key and relaxed. the amazing breakfast, the location to hiking trails which is our thing, and even the movie channels, we managed to watch 2 movies, which we had not done in years. the room was clean and comfortable and the hot water in the shower seemed endless. the check in process was easy and the hostess was great. we enjoyed all the bear stories.

this is a very well-run inn and I can't think of anything to say bad.

Michelle, as always, was a very pleasant host. Room One was a King Suite with private porch access. The room was clean, attractive and comfortable. The A/C worked well but due to a heat wave in the area, a fan would have, also, been very useful to help move the cool, humid air. The bathroom was roomy and clean. The inn is a historic and attractive facility with period appropriate furnishings. The breakfast area was large and afforded a lovely morning view. Breakfast was EXCELLENT and the service staff were polite and competent. The inn is a short walk down to the business area of Jackson and only a short walk up to Jackson Falls.

Our toilet had a tricky flush that required you to hold the handle down for just the right amount of time or it wouldn't flush completely. Often required multiple flushes to clear the bowl. The private porch was a plus, but the temperature and humidity made it too uncomfortable to enjoy (NO fault of the inn). Despite the A/C, the room was humid and a ceiling fan or standing fan would have been appreciated. The Keurig machine, for individual coffee, had been removed for, supposedly, COVID precautions. Not really a valid concern as a vector of COVID transmission and it would have been nice to be able to enjoy a very early morning or evening coffee before coffee was made available at about 0730.

Very accomadating for special requests. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Rooms were large, and beds were super comfy. Very close to many sightseeing things. The breakfasts were to die for! Great selection and great portions. Scones were out of this world good. The Inn keeper was so sweet; made me feel like we were friends first thing.

It got slightly warm in my 2nd floor room, but I didn't request fan. This was so minute that it is barely worth mentioning.

This is a beautiful, historical Inn that has everything one can wish for, including a great breakfast. The inn is located in a sweet little village which is surrounded by nature with a minimum amount of tourists. Mt. Washington trail is just 15min away by car. The inn has a special family touch so you truly feel at home already upon arrival. Michele has been an amazing host that handles everything with a big smile. We had a memorable stay here, thank you so much!

The bed was making a bit of noise but it somewhat fitted the historical atmosphere so we didn't mind :)

Beautiful little in just off the beaten path. Staff was wonderful. The Inn is beautiful and very peaceful and quite. There is a nice fire pit that you can sit by and relax. The pricing is on point for the property.

While it wasn't the property's fault at all the area was under a severe thunderstorm watch. They inn keeper decided to close the hot tub which was a major reason why we choose to stay there. I would have been happier with being able to use common sense and good judgement on whether or not to use the hot tub depending on the weather, but I understand the decision.

Loved the location and breakfast was perfect. We had 3 different rooms. Both were great and the beds were comfy. Our first room had a cute skylight so we opened it and the crisp night air was nice. The fire pit area was a great feature we forgot to enjoy.

The property is great and has a nice history. The only issue was the size of the bathrooms, very tiny. But that does come with historic homes converted to Inns early in history. So if your a really tall guy or gal, keep this in mind. But they were very clean.
