Courtyard by Marriott Albany Thruway

across the street from SUNY Albany which is where my conference was, this meant no need for Ubers! Room was very clean and staff was very friendly. Gym had decent equipment.

My room was on the first floor by one of the staff doors, so it started being open and shut over and over very early in the morning, which woke me up. Other than that, all was great!

modern. bathroom was nicely updated. beds were comfortable. staff was friendly.

the Bistro was advertised as offering breakfast and dinner which is why I chose this hotel. however, it was not open for dinner and breakfast was cereal and bagels. the staff behind the counter went to the back and didn’t return to assist us so we went to Dunkin Donuts. also, both booking.com and the Marriott app state that Starbucks is on the premises. it isn’t.

I didn't eat the breakfast on site. I thought breakfast was complimentary but was told it was for purchase so I went elsewhere.

The streaming services required personal user information, I thought they were complimentary as well. My room was not cleaned on my second day of stay, guess it wasn't the standard.

I have not been back to Albany since I relocated and it was Close to crossgates absolutely spotless and your staff was perfect including those hard workers who cleaned the rooms I will be back

The oven in the kitchen always smelled like it was burning. I believe you only have one person to attend to the food

Came here for a birthday staycation — wanted a place with a pool and this place was excellent!! The housekeeper Louisa was 10/10 she made this stay amazing and deserves every possible praise or bonus. She MADE my birthday and was an employee that made my day.

The location close to the highway. The parking was very close.

The Bistro restaurant seemed understaffed. The few people that worked there were friendly but often there was nobody readily available to take my order.

The staff was very polite, warm and kind. Especially the receptionist - Thalia. She arranged coffee though the facility was closed. And accommodated all the requests made.

Can keep drinking water bottles in the rooms.

I loved access to the pool, that there was a bistro there and people were extremely friendly and helpful

I did have to seek someone out for more towels but they replenished them quickly

The room was very nice and clean. The location was very convenient for what I went to Albany for. Great spot with Dunkin donuts and a gas station right next to the hotel. Close to restaurants and highway!

Due to a storm that came thru that day there was limited parking.
