Hotel at the Lafayette Trademark Collection by Wyndham

I don’t want to come across as snobby but for the price of the rooms it’s astonishing there was no fridge for food or drinks. We put ice in the sink for our waters and drinks. Also no microwaves

We booked a suite at the hotel, and asked on booking.com for room 209, unfortunately, it doesn’t appear our request made it through… So the first night we stayed in a very small, almost claustrophobic like suite. However, after talking with the front desk, the next day, they moved us to another room with an outside window, and was much better and much larger, So thanks to them for that.

The beds… We find the only complaint we typically have the whole time we stay at the Lafayette, of which we stayed numerous times, is that the beds are too soft… Makes it very hard to sleep.

Beautiful rooms and a friendly bar staff at the connected bar and restaurant. Food was good.

That booking.com never paid the hotel on my first stay despite taking money for the stay a month prior when I booked. This is a Booking.com problem, not the hotels, however. And I'm working to getting Booking.com to fix it. Along with all the other bookings I booked for this trip where they did the same thing.

Good room and access to an outdoor patio into the evening

The restaurant and bar in the hotel were closed. On a previous visit we enjoyed the valet parking service. This time we needed to park in a ramp. The cost of $16 for parking from 4:00pm - 10:00 am was not anticipated. Street parking outside of hotel was metered. Coffee maker in the room was supplied with decaf coffee only. The desk personnel said that's all the hotel had. Coffee had to be purchase at a vendor off of the hotel lobby.

everything. the newly appointed receptionist in the morning time was very helpful and also provided me with the water bottle ( for free) as the restaurant nearby was closed by them. Great customer service -Thanks Sagar for understanding my situation as I was real thirsty and it was snowing outside

1) no water bottle in the room 2) extended check out was allowed for only 1 hour ( without any charges) while other hotels provide at least 2 hrs of extended check out ( starting 12 noon ) while this hotels policy was check out at 11 which is very early from my experiences this was the first hotel to have such rule.

This hotel is a Crown Gem for the Queen City. It is an amazing collaboration of the rich Buffalo history and architecture mixed with modern-day technology and decor. I had chills in the foyer and hallways thinking of the people who have walked through in the past. Awesome place and cannot wait to visit again. Also, the Junior suite was incredible. Perfect for a date weekend with my wife.

I did not like that we were only there for one night, I wish we had more time.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, good price, good location

Fridge and microwave would have made my rating a 9. There was a space under the door so we could hear noisy people in and down the hall. Room was set up oddly. We had to walk up 2 steps to get to the sink and bathroom. The tub and shower were side by side with no doors or curtains on either. There was a sliding door at the top of the 2 steps however. There was also a sliding door on the bathroom.

We really enjoyed the historical nature of the hotel. The interior common area architecture is great. The employees are all extremely helpful & friendly. Proximity to the KeyBank Center is very good ... just 10 minutes walk.

Overall, the cleanliness was very good, but we did find a long hair in the shower.

Location, atmosphere

Loved the location, decor, atmosphere and staff. A few issues - near the headboard slumped /broken and squeaked when you laid down, so so had to sleep in the couch, no soap to use after washing hands in the bathroom-Not sanitary. Grout-a little moldy in shower!

The property was awesome loved it. Felt like I went back in time. So much history. Very cool. Staff were so nice and helpful.

Nothing even the parking wasn’t bad. No on site parking unless you can find a spot on the street. But, parking garage 1 block down.
