This is the oldest hotel in Buffalo, an historic place, and I loved its vibe.. It is in walking distance of Buffalo general hospital which was important for this visit. I was on the 10th floor and had a great view of downtown Buffalo and Lake Erie. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. I consider it a great value for the price. It also has free parking which I consider a real bonus in downtown Buffalo.

The old radiator knocked all night, but I considered that part of its charm.

All staff we encountered were great. We were always greeted with a hello. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

It’s an old property and that’s the only reason I didn’t give it a ten. The room was clean and the bed was clean (we checked). If you enjoy a place with atmosphere stay here. It is situated in an old Victorian neighbourhood. We were told it was built in 1898 and that it was THE place to stay for travelling presidents and other dignitaries. I can only imagine what it would have looked like in its heyday! Would definitely stay here again. The price was very reasonable too.

Hotel building is beautiful and the interior was very charming, and given its age, I was expecting some things to be quite different than in a newer hotel. The room was nice, the beds were very comfortable, and the room had two things I really appreciate (that aren't in some newer hotels); a TV with cable so you get all the channels, and a fan in the bathroom.

Bathroom was small. A curved shower curtain would help greatly. The radiator would come on during the night and would creak and crackle. There was no way to turn it off so it made noise during the night.

The Lenox may not be for everyone it is a walk back in time. It is dated, but always clean and the staff go way out of their way to make you comfortable. Their is a bar restaurant below the hotel in the basement with good foot and a huge selection of beers and spirits. It has the feel of the Chelsea Hotel in NYC. You can walk to everything. Super safe with a convenience store adjacent. You will feel like you are in a film from the 1940s. Excellent parking on site, free. Still get a real room key. It would be a good place to live to write the next great American Novel.

The staff were amazing, the space was beautiful and well-maintained, and the location was perfect. It was also a very reasonable price-point. We really loved our stay and will be coming again!

The wifi was a little spotty and it would have been great if there could have been more areas to plug in devices (I could only find one accessible outlet in the bathroom). Nothing we couldn't deal with though, and it was still well-worth the stay - we really enjoyed our stay!

Everything right from the start was incredible. Staff were so helpful and kind. The restaurant onsite was so good too and having the convenience of it was the best part especially not being from the area.

Not being able to open the windows for a bit of fresh air was no big deal but it would have been nice. realizing we were high up was probably the problem with that being possible. Also, only one coffee pack was in the room. we probably could have got more but there were 3 of us.

The staff is extremely friendly. The room was more like a studio apartment without the stove. The room was very clean. The attached restaurant had amazing food, atmosphere, and music. The price for this hotel was right on point.

The bed was super uncomfortable, like sleeping on a bed of bricks and it was on one of the old school bedframes with wheels so every time we sat down it would move. It had a window AC (side note, it did keep the room nice and cool) and a plug in heater for heat. Just maybe a few updates and it will be an excellent hotel. The only other thing I wasn't really a fan of, they have actual keys for rooms which is quite dated but I understand that it comes with the historical building.

Location is ok, few miniutes by car to Canal side and close to road via Niagara. Parking is behind the building.

Hotel should have something outside to seat down, cause there is no outdoor roof, no tables...just walking direct to the street. No breakfast, which si unusually for any hotel. You have to drive few blocks away to fina something to eat. Nothing special, but it's ok.
