Courtyard by Marriott Buffalo Downtown/Canalside

The location is perfect. It's a 4 minute walk to the Key bankcentere, perfect for a hockey game. There is a great pizza place attached to the hotel as well. The beds are so comfortable. The shower was huge, and there were bottles of built-in body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The room is a great size and has a mcirowave , fridge, and coffee maker. They have an exercise room, hottub , pool, and onsite parking .There is a bar in the lobby and a starbucks. . Would definitely stay here again.

The room was great. My daughter loved she had her own t.v. in the bedroom. Hotel was doing some work on some of the floors but you couldn't even tell. No mess , no noise, no construction smells or dust. Staff was extremely friendly. The bistro was great. The cook and kid at the counter were very nice.

Only had one problem. Had to walk a block to take ours dogs to potty. Only thing I would suggest is maybe putting a small grassy area for pets.

I liked that the light rail was right at the front door so we could jump on and explore downtown more. Fantastic to be so close to canalside so we could enjoy long walks even in - ve temperatures in Feb. The ice-skating was also there. A few eating options nearby and Tim Hortons across the road for coffee. The room was super clean and as was the bathroom. Plenty of towels. Very comfortable.

The lobby lounge furniture was dated. The 'well used' marks on the upholstery around the headrests and armrests was off putting. More usb points in the lobby lounge would be appreciated to be able to keep things charging.

It was really close to Keybank Center. The was really spacious & comfortable. I like the layout of the room with the sleeping area being separated from the living room.

The comforter could have been a little thicker, since our stay was during winter. I would have liked a separate soaker tub included in the bathroom. The towels could be thicker. I didn’t see a room service menu, l wanted to order breakfast during our stay.

Our main reason for visiting Buffalo was to see a hockey game at the KeyBank Center. The location of the hotel was perfect! The arena is less than a block away. While there weren't many convenience stores located near the hotel area, there were a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance as well as a Tim Horton's on the corner. For the history buffs, the hotel is located near several historic sites and museums. The hotel staff was wonderful! Everyone was helpful, polite, and very pleasant.

Cleanliness, very nice accommodations . This is my second stay and would stay again. My first stay my view was construction, obstructed with machinery. Second stay view of I90 free way parking lot and in the distance a glimpse of cityscape

I asked the gentleman that checked me in to note to my file that a small stump in shower looks damaged. He said no problem. Told him im reporting because I don't want to be liable for it . I took a shower immediately after checking in and noticed right away and reported it on my way out for the evening. At check out, I was told no note is on my file. I don't appreciate being lied to. If they try to charge me and it should have been on file at check in, I guess we can see how that would be a problem. Especially when you did what was necessary to avoid any issues from the beginning.

The location of the hotel was great. Everything we needed to do during July 4th weekend was walking distance. We were able to see the fireworks from ball park.

Hotel rooms were not cleaned needed to wait for our rooms. The bar was closed but the hotel clerk stated that the staff called in.

Hotel was great. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable and the shower was exceptional. The room could have been a little cleaner as it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed but overall it was great.

There really isn't breakfast, just a mini "bistro" with a couple of Starbucks-like options and it was over by the time I came down at 930am. There is a restaurant for dinner but it is only open Tues - Sat. Location was great except there is construction everywhere.

The room was beautiful, clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The pool area and rest of hotel were also beautiful.

The tv in the bedroom shut itself off and wouldn’t turn back on which was a pain. Trying to find the parking area was difficult more signage would be great! And it would have been nice when I booked if they told me the hot tub was out of service.

I booked the room last minute because it was directly on our route- I was shocked at how amazing the hotel is. The Starbucks in the morning really exceeded my expectations! And the pool was warm compared to others!

The only issue was that the fridge only cools for 2 hours and I ended up throwing out leftovers from dinner.
