The Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo-Downtown

Great location short walk to the convention center, lots of restaurants within walking distance, great hot breakfast made fresh to order, super friendly and hospitable staff!

Lots of homeless people in the area, a bit sketchy at night

Room was big. Comfortable bed, nice view of downtown. Short drive to Bills stadium and Niagara Falls

We were very fortunate to be able to find a room, not just for a night - for an entire week on a whim. Our plan was to go to Canada for a week and we were not able to do so. We stopped in to the hotel hoping for a room for the night and ended up staying the entire week. Zach (front desk manager) and his crew were AMAZING!!

I would have given the facility a solid 10 across the board, however, we stayed for a week and the entire sty the pool was closed due to someones child pulling the pool lights out. This was not repaired during our stay. Swimming was something we were really looking forward to. Especially since our stay was not planned.

THe cleanlieness of the hotel sepecially in this timne of Covid 19 was exceptional and my daughters and I felt comfortable staying there security on premise key card elevator, doors everything.

The parking situation was ok but difficult at times to find and get in a spot, perhaps expanding the parking but don't change the key card and gate system

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, from giving us exact directions to our show to our waitress at the restaurant. Food was incredible!!

The pool looked NOTHING like the pictures. I understand the use of the room cards on the elevator is for safety reasons but we accidentally left our one card behind and my daughter took our other card back to the room. We first got stuck on the elevator and then when we thought we could just take the stairs, we got locked in the stairwell. We called for help using the call box in the stairwell but no answer. We said good thing we were not in danger and it was an emergency because no one responded.

The convenience! Everything is practically walking distance, and close (walking distance) to; food, shops, attractions etc... I would highly recommend to anyone coming to Buffalo for an NHL game; the city of Buffalo offers free 'metro' or 'above ground subway' service (on special event dates) that is literally across the street from the Hilton. Fast and drops you off right in front of the Keybank Center! Amazing! Overall, a great sprot also for just causal walking the streets!

The location and room view was amazing.

I booked the room at one price and there was a $80 difference in price once there. When I mentioned it, they said they would reimburse, that there was a hold on the card, my booking never mentioned that and said price, tax and fees included. .We had four in our party and that is how it was booked. The room only had towels for three, there was no shower soap. we got to the room late after a game and realized we did not have bedding for the pull-out sofa.

The young lady at the front desk 4/23/23 (not the "manager") was what made the stay perfect. She went out of her way to help with parking and something left in the room. She was the only person I dealt with but I know there was a manager around also.

No drink cups, glasses. Kind of noisy neighbors. Would have loved to have jacuzzi tub, but none at property. Front doors to hotel could have been cleaner.

Very Clean, friendly staff

Tram located just outside of hotel is suggested by staff as a means to get to event location approximately 1 mile away... unfortunately tram stop taken over by vagrants & felt unsafe. We ended up walking the mile as well as others who encountered the same situation.

staff were great and very friendly! the room was average sized, comfy beds, and we loved that there was a microwave. check out is noon which is later than a lot of hotels which was great. it was in a very convenient location for us as we were going to the riverworks.

we had kind of noisy neighbours and since our room was adjoined we could hear them - i wish there’s been better sound proofing. continental breakfast was pretty small and didn’t have a lot to choose from. we were also told it was included in the room fee but we got charged for it and $7.99 is pretty expensive for such a limited menu
