Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dewitt Syracuse, an IHG Hotel

Very clean, spacious room, enough linens , great morning breakfast ( we didn’t really eat, but seen it) awesome coffee and creamer! They also had Dove soap pumps at sink, and in shower! Great hotel!

they charged my card after they said I would pay in morning after check out…. it’s just sometimes I grab a card, and secure the room, but then pay when I get there with different card… but found receipt under my door when I woke up.

I called the hotel early in the day to let them know I would be checking in very late but that I would be there. After driving 11 hours with 3 children, we walked in and the gentlemen at the front desk (Dave) had our room keys ready and everything! I know it doesn’t seem like much but after driving all day with children it was much appreciated! Also, the lady working in the breakfast area(Sonya) was so kind and friendly! We enjoyed our short stay and will be back when we come this way again!

The breakfast wasn't the greatest, the pancake machine was out of order both mornings and there was no apple or orange juice. The noise in-between floors was not the greatest, hear kids running all night. As well as I had to ask for bed settings 2 times for the pull out couch and by the 2nd time I was able to get a comforter for the 2nd night.

Easy to find, close to restaurants, staff were very nice. The facility was very clean , bed was comfortable and the decor was very nice. The morning breakfast was a very nice touch! We were pleased with our stay and will stay there again if need be.

Bathroom toilet is too low to the ground. This is common in most hotels. There should be grab bars near the toilet and extra grab bars in the shower. It maybe too expensive to put them in every too, but should have several rooms available like that.

Location was great. Breakfast was par but Bryck stood out. He was fantastic. Check in was simple and he had an amazing dinner recommendation.

Our room was next to a large family who has multiple kids who screamed all the time. Up past 11pm and up before 5am, running around and yelling. I know this wasn’t staff’s fault, but definitely ruined our experience a little.

The property is close to restaurants and shopping, but not right on the busy road, so you didn’t have the constant traffic going through. the front desk workers were considerate and polite.

The parking lot was a little awkward, but not bad. The pool was kind of chilly, but not unbearable.

Everything was great. Front desk was exceptionally helpful and did the very best they could with Covid procedures and guidelines. The breakfast was filling and many choices for even the gluten-free or dairy free diets. Hygiene provided was full sized bottles in the showers that allowed all 4 of us to use if needed. First time I have ever seen that. The 1st floor had flooded during our stay and the staff did a great job informing the guests and made all attempts to clean it up promptly and professionally. I will stay at this hotel for all my trips to the area from now on. Location is perfect for avoiding traffic and within minutes of all attractions in the area. Front desk was the best staff I have seen in all my travels thus far.. Hope their same staff is there on our next stay so we can have the same experience as this one . thank you

Having to come back home!

Everything was good.

When we checked in the staff was good but the night staff Joe was very rude. Day staff told us gym is open 24 hours then my fiancé went around 11pm and Joe was very rude saying he only has 15 mins he needs to lock it up it’s not 24 hours and that he’s been telling them to change the sign for years but no one has. He was just very argumentative and had poor customer service. Everyone else we encountered was awesome!

One of our family’s favorite highlights is having options of a healthy hot or cold breakfast before we get our day started on the road and that the hostess will go out of her way to make sure we have everything we need...This hostess wanted to give me our tip back cause she thought we were tipping her to much and told her just how much we appreciated the service...

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. It is one of the reasons we almost always pick Holiday Inn Express as our choice stay. ThankYou for always treating us like we our home away from home

The breakfast was very good. They had a different menu both days of our stay. Access to the clean pool was a plus. Most locations we planned on visiting were 15-20 distance.

The only thing I didn't like that our A/C in the room wasn't cold and it was a bit hot at night to sleep.
