The Craftsman Inn & Suites

We prepaid for our room through booking. Unfortunately they also charged us for the room and it had been several phone calls to get it fixed. The only person who has the ability to fix this is the manager who does not return phone calls and is not around during check in-out. If you have an issue make sure you keep following up. As nice of a place this was to stay, I was disappointed in the customer service from the manager.

The rooms are well decorated, the bed was comfortable, fitness center was nice. Pastries at breakfast were good. Breakfast room has plenty of space. wish we had been able to try the restaurant, it looks really nice.

The doors have really poor sound proofing. You can hear everything in the hallway. Thankfully it was quiet at night so not really a problem for getting a good night sleep, but not good for anyone who wants to sleep in. wish they had an egg optional for breakfast instead of waffles.

I like the location of the hotel very close to a big plaza. The comfort of the bed and cleanliness in our room. In addition, the quiet hallway.

I think breakfast staff can be more friendly and greet as soon as they see guests in the breakfast area. Also, breakfast service can offer some better options like fresh eggs and home potatoes instead of cold sandwiches to be heated in a microwave. Please check the coffee machine in rooms because mine didn't work at all.

Very pet-friendly hotel with great staff. The continental breakfast was excellent and fully-stocked with great coffee. Pet fee was $75 for one dog, free parking. I was here as my dog had a surgery at the animal dental specialists down the street (also excellent) and they allowed me to stay later with no charge which was so helpful. The restaurant on location was expensive as hell but tasty and had a great vibe is you just want a drink at the bar solo-traveling. Overall, excellent stay.

There were four of us, traveled by car - the parking was free, Our room was spacious and very clean. Linen and towels - white, no complaints. The breakfast was excellent - freshly baked waffles, yogurt, a variety of pastries, eggs, burgers, fruits, cereals, milk, juices, tea, coffee! The service of this two star hotel was beyond our expectations! Thanks to the staff!

Location was perfect for our needs. Decor is a little dark and the bathroom was small. Breakfast was just basic grab & go, appreciated the coffee but actually went elsewhere to get a proper breakfast. Room was clean, bar & restaurant next door was good.

Bar should open earlier than 4:00 on a Friday so we started our libations across the street and then came back. We were a group of 8 that wanted a place to gather to catch up and be able to visit before going off to our event. The 2 night minimum to get a larger suite, Syracuse is a stay-cation for us so 2 nights are unlikely.

The location is perfect. Very easy to get to where you need to go. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly (Spencer is awesome!). Will only stay at the craftsman when I’m in the area!

Check out states it’s at 11am. I forgot to put the do not disturb sign on the door and someone walked in while I was changing at 10:15/10:30. Sorry to the woman who saw a little more than she wanted to!

The design details were carried through the entire facility. It looked beautiful.

Our room was not vacuumed and we found strands of long black hair everywhere (on the bed, floor, and bathroom). I mentioned this to Kayla at the front desk and she was willing to come up and vacuum the room herself.

Comfotable bed and pillows. Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location

Only that the outlet in the corner only is useable when the overhead light switch is on.. also the lamp in the next is soft light but you can’t use it either without overhead light being on. So the tv wall could use another stand alone power outlet

The room was very clean and cozy. We loved the bed. It was very comfortable. We love the location as it was very easy to find what we were looking for. I would definitely go back again and would recommend this place for ypur stay.
