Hampton Inn Hamburg

I liked that the pool opened at 6am and the cleanliness of the facility. The staff were all friendly and respectful. The pool was clean, and not too crowded while I was there. I was able to get a quiet swim in. It was quite relaxing.

The morning person did not have a key to the pool and did not how to open it. (It seemed to be a training issue). The staff was very apologetic and told me to try again at 7am when the next person came in. I would have like the pool to stay open longer (extended hours). There was also a cockroach in the bathroom where my son was staying on the first night, and a carcass of a cockroach in the bathroom the next day. It was late when they saw the first one and just wanted to go to bed (they did look at floors, the mattresses and corners before making the decision). We talked about keeping bags off the floor or put them in the tub.

We loved this hotel to explore Erie County during the winter. It has a central location and there are a lot of stores and facilities (gas station, Starbucks...) just around the corner. The room was spacious and clean. It offered everything we needed. Fun fact: we were in Hamburg when storm Elliot gave us a visit. We didn't have power for several hours but it was a nice experience: everybody was sitting in the lobby, having a drink and a snack. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. I could not imagine a better place to stay when you have to wait until the storm was over.

The pool was out of service and we didn't get our welcome gift as a Hilton golden member (but that didn't bother us at all).

We thought that the breakfast facility and the menu was excellent and the location was very convenient for the several places we had to visit. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

During our stay a large portion of the parking lot was unavailable due to sealing of the asphalt. This made parking very difficult. Since this was just a temporary situation I'm sure our next visit will be much better.

Had an issue with a traveling kids hockey team disrupting the lounge area. Provided feedback to Josh the GM. He listened to me and comped one night stay. I was very satisfied and felt valued.

My son and I stopped on our way home from Chicago. We were trying to find a place that we could rest for a few hours before we were back on the road to Boston. We stopped along the highway at a few locations and we knew they didn't fit what we were looking for. We were thrilled with the cleanliness of the entire property and our room was very nice but most importantly CLEAN! The bathroom amenities were very nice also. I just wish we could have stayed longer at this hotel. Very pleased with our decision to stay!

The breakfast bar was probably the best I have ever had at any hotel before!!! Great job on the many items to choose from!!!

I had a dog with me which I let them know. I was not informed of the $50 charge for 4 days!!! We only stayed 1 night.

This place was outstanding! New and lovely! Perfect location off the Thruway, but very close to lots of great places to eat in the the sweet little town. The spacious room was quiet with super clean, comfortable beds, a fairly large fridge, well-stocked towels and a large walk-in shower. The workout room is well-equipped and actually has windows, so nice and bright. We had traveled across the entire country and this was the best place we stayed!

Recently renovated hotel with clean sleek furnishings and nice walk in shower. Spacious Room. Decent breakfast including some freshly made hot choices (hot oatmeal with toppings was wonderful) Recommend the Waterstone Grill next door for dinner. Great food.

Location is nondescript along a busy road just off I 90. The quieter rooms are on the back side of the hotel if the traffic noise bothers you.

great stay, I highly recommend to any family or anyone for that matter, It was the price of a small little motel yet it was like staying in a 200/night hotel. Very accommodating for covid orotocol as well.. most hotels have the pools shut down yet here they have you make appt times and it works out perfect. LOVE this hotel

would have been nicer to have a full breakfast buffet but with covid they exceeded my expectations still. Had everything prepacked. was still nice, They do everything they can for you.

Breakfast was great. The staff person on duty that morning was very helpful and friendly. Front desk staff also helpful and kind. Very comfortable bed.

The heating/cooling device in the room was noisy and it was hard getting the room to a stable comfortable temperature overnight.
