Hilton Garden Inn Troy

The breakfast was excellent tasty and love that there was a variety. Rahayu (think I spelt her name incorrectly) she was very friendly and attentive in the dining hall. Stacey the front receptionist was also very friendly and helpful with the area and getting around.

The carpets on the stairs and dining area needed to be vacuumed as there was chips hair pens under the table in the waiting area by the couches and bits of trash on the steps. The headboard in my room also needed attention as there was visible dust.

The breakfast is good, the location of the hotel is vital, close to everything, banks, restaurants, and the bus station as well 😁

What I did not like is the price at the end of the week and cleaning courses every three days. The bathrooms need cleaning every day or two days at least. The water tasted and smelled strange in the hand-washing basin

My room was clean, I used Lysol disinfectant wipes to disinfect surfaces, no visible dirt showed up on my wipes. Breakfast was good, hostess/waitress in breakfast area, her name may have been Kelly was very nice. Elevators worked well, room was a nice size and comfortable. I wore white socks during my stay in the room, no visible dirt on my socks, room was a little stuffy when we first arrived, after fan blowing a day it felt better

this Hilton was a little dated compared to other HIlton's I have stayed at could use some updating , but cleanliness is of upmost importance to me and this Hilton was clean

Clean and easy check in and check out. Elevators worked well. Liked that the window actually opened to let in some air.

Shower in our room wasn't working correctly - water wouldn't go completely to shower nozzle so tub filled up. You need a mirror in the main area with an outlet for a blow dryer. Would be nice to have some utensils wrapped in plastic available. The gap between the floor and door allowed a lot of noise from the hallway to be heard inside the room and there were some very noisy neighbors.

Awesome and the crew was very nice🥰They greeted me kindly and indicated what was available for breakfast and what I could order as a special request for breakfast.

The price over the weekend was too high for one night🥴The price on Saturday night was $334. That's a lot

The smell of the hallway, the smell of the room, that they have a pool and it was open and clean, that they have a restaurant and they make pina colada's. The staff was amazing there was an issue with the booking online and the system and everything worked out great.

It was close to Samaritan Hospital where family member was going for treatment

Coffee maker in room didn't work but coffee was available in lobby on second day, not a big deal, but would have been convenient for my first morning as we had to be at hospital by 5:45 am, air conditioning was not easy to adjust but rather be chilly than too warm

Patrick at check in was exceptionally nice, professional, personable. Location and facilities were great, along with surrounding area. Breakfast was excellent. The whole place was very clean and followed covid guidelines. The whole staff was great. Will definitely be back with more family/friends.

Would have like pool/gym to be open, but with covid, actually ok it was appropriately closed. No other problems at all.

The courteous of the worker and concern of the matter

Well there were people that checked in next to me on Friday and they were soooo Noisy and they were playing loud music ... I did call from my room 302 and a young gentleman took care of the situation as far as the loud music. The "Party" I assumed went on till about 2:30 am which I was unable to get a decent nights rest ... But the gentleman did provided me another room on the lower floor and it was soooooo much better and quieter .... Even though its beyond the control of who checks in, with our concerns of other people should be brought to the attention of the front desk or management which I see some people are just scared to do .... But I have to say thank you to the young gentleman who worked the night shift and took care of the situation of the loud music and changing my room .....

Did not have enough handicap parking spaces. And some of the non handicap spaces were closer to the entrance in the front of the building.
