Aloft Chapel Hill

It was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

I booked two King rooms, was told they were all taken when we arrived and they gave us two queen bed rooms. But the queen beds were the size of double beds. It was an adjoining room with my sons family beside us, the door between was stuck and I had to force it open. there was a little miner repairs needed to the room, but all in all the room was ok. It was a little expensive but normal I guess for this economy.

Let me tell you as we stepped into the front desk a big warm smile and hello how are you doing greeted us. From check-in to check-out it was a beautiful stay. I needed an accessible room and when I say that it met standards, it exceeded. The room was huge and roomy beds really comfortable and just right, they were not to high off floor and not to low. The roll in shower was just that and the tile on the bathroom floor ( I am trying to find the words to explain it) but they were not slippery and the water from the shower immediately dried up, I'm a fall risk so I look for little things like this and they did a phenomenal job.

Snacks were a little on the expensive side.

The room was great--well appointed and comfortable. LOVED the funky wallpaper in the bathroom. Good free parking and location was convenient. There was also a pleasant venue behind the hotel for a morning walk.

We've been spoiled at other similar chains that offer free breakfast. However, we were okay with and finding a fun breakfast place off site .

The room was spacious, with ample storage. It was laid out so you could work at the desk privided, chill on the sofa or sleep. There was a bar downstairs. There were a few restaurants, coffee shops and even a drug store about 200 m away.

The included breakfast was just frozen sandwiches that you could heat. And I didn't get any housekeeping services, even though I requested them.

The room was big and spacious. The beds were nice, and the hotel was only a couple minutes away from UNC.

When booking this hotel it stated that breakfast was included. We expecting to receive a free breakfast option but that was not the case. It was just a shame to not get what we thought we had paid for due to improper advertising.

Very cool vibe. I love how all the aloft properties are different and this one did not disappoint. Loved all the local art in the lobby. The front desk person was super nice, loved her. Give that woman a raise!

Honestly had no issues what so ever!

second time staying here! love the staff and location and cleanliness! the pillows… super flat down pillows aren’t good for anyone! the shower pressure and temperature are 5+ stars! the TV service and size could stand to be upgraded.

The staff was friendly and gracious. They accommodated my special request and made a hard day better with their kindness. I also like the fact that they weren’t in stuffy uniforms. Their entire went with the vibe of the hotel, overall.

location was convenient, easy walking to some restaurants. very thoughtfully laid out spacious rooms with high end extras.

thought there was bar and restaurant in house, but it wasn’t staffed.

Facility was completely out of regular coffee packets for in-room coffeemaker. Only decaf packets were available. It's a small thing, but not much help when you want some wake-up brew before dressing in the AM. Room had surprisingly little sound proofing. Traffic noise from outside was more than expected.
