Aloft Charlotte City Center

The staff are brilliant. All of them are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms and public spaces are clean and modern. The wheelchair accessible bathroom in my room was very good. The food options are quite limited but are always freshly made to order, Crystal was very kind and catered to dietary requests.

The air conditioning units in the rooms are very loud, even when turned off at every possible place, it comes on by itself briefly from time to time and is loud enough to wake you. The only other drawback was that the location, whilst excellent for exploring the city, is right beside roads which host loud wannabe-race drivers at night... for hours... every night...

The staff were all very friendly. I had a mishap with our booking (my mistake) and they were very accommodating and very understanding when fixing it. The rooms were clean and we constantly saw housekeeping cleaning rooms. The hotel is within walking distance of the Nascar Museum, Spectrum Center and restaurants. I liked the lobby had a pool table and corn hole boards where you could play a few games.

The room didn't have a microwave. Instead you had to go to the lobby to use the microwave there. Although, the rooms are nice, I felt like they're a little small for the price you pay. Keep in mind if you're booking an Epicenter view, there's no longer anything to view. (There's a restaurant, cigar bar, bowling alley/arcade and a CVS)

It was nice and close to everywhere we had to go. It is also close to the red eye diner that is very good.

I was a bit surprised it is inside a building and didn’t start until the fifth floor of the building its in. The elevators became a bit busy once friday hit so sometimes we had a bit of a wait .The halls of the hotel were a bit warm and there is no pool which would be a great asset especially in the end of July.

The staff at the establishment was extremely amicable and welcoming. The bartender provided an enjoyable and entertaining experience. The location of the establishment is highly convenient. Moreover, the price of the accommodations is significantly more affordable when compared to nearby hotels.

The parking lot is quite compact, measuring only 6’10“. It poses a considerable challenge for larger vehicles.

The staff was incredible. Room was beautiful with great views. The proximity to the Spectrum Center was awesome

$100 fee (I don't have a lot of money and this trip was a birthday present for my son. Won't have a lot of money... until that deposit is returned) Parking fee. Never paid for parking at a hotel before.

The rooms were very nice and clean. King sized bed was very comfortable. HVAC in room worked well to maintain a good temperature.

Breakfast not included, but there is a great 24/7 restaurant (Red Eye) in the same block that serves an amazing breakfast! There were not any USB charges in the room, which was a little surprising for an upscale hotel, but not a deal breaker. They did have 120vac plugs at the bed nightstands, so bring a 120v adapter.

The room was really great! The bed was super comfortable, room was clean & very quiet. The staff was super nice. Location was great & easy to get around. Extremely convenient if you are going to a hornet's game.

The only thing that I could say that I didn't like was parking. I had to run inside to try to figure out the entrance to the parking garage, but I saw signs for it as I went around the corner.

You get what you pay for. The price for the room that weekend was nice. The lobby was welcoming. Checking in was quick.

Finding the hotel was a bit confusing. Self parking was an option in the parking deck but they would charge you every time you enter and exit. We went with valet which was better since valet was done directly in the parking deck and our vehicle was right there.

Check in and out was a breeze. The staff were EXCEPTIONAL! Really appreciate the vibe.

Difficult to find parking and overnight in the deck is expensive. Understandable since its right uptown.. Do they validate parking, I have no idea, but it would be nice.

I like the theme of the hotel. They did not clean our room at all. And the valet guys would not serve us. They were too busy sitting down watching videos on their cell phones.

Hire a better valet staff and have people clean the rooms and throw the t has our at least. They did not do anything
