The room was beautiful and very clean. The bed was excellent and very comfortable. The gym was very good and clean.
I had a concern over an excessive holding charge that was charged to my card (close to $400), but I was unable to receive anything other than a verbal assurance that the amount wouldn't be on my final bill. I spoke to different people at the front desk 4 times during my stay, requesting a printout which would show the final amount, but no one was able to provide me one. One person wrote amounts on a post-it note, and I was told to go to the front desk on Monday morning to get a print out from accounting, but when I inquired, no one was able to help me, nor knew what I was talking about.

We liked that the staff were attentive, genuine & friendly. The hotel smelled lovely upon entrance and was sparkling clean, had a spacious entry/reception space and a lively restaurant/bar. Our room was very clean and we had a beautiful view from our 8th floor window. The appointments of white tea soap and lavender oil were especially touching. The wood wrap on the TV wall and headboard wall were effective for a quiet experience. Lastly, The Westin had THE BEST food that we’ve ever eaten at a hotel! Both restaurant and bar delivered a delightful dining experience.

Wifi was really annoying. Had to reconnect all the time. Wasn’t free by default (have to sign up for a rewards program) and it’s very easy during the many many logins to accidentally press the button to upgrade the wifi quality. Should be high quality for everyone, free without a sign up.

the location and the cleanliness
the staff wasn’t helpful or friendly. it was transactional. but not rude. just didn’t want to go one inch out of the way. it was a busy weekend check in so I assumed it was that reason. we were asked to self park because valet was too busy. we were in a long line to check in and when we get up to the front the clerk was short and rude and told us to check back in an hour to see if a room was ready. the bartender was even short after dinner. what do you want? here’s the check.

The room was in tip top shape and very comfortable. Connor and the rest of the valet staff were awesome. It was hard to find anybody in the lobby to answer our questions but the guys at the valet went above and beyond to help us.
The only people that were at the front desk were doing check in. There was no one at the concierge desk the whole weekend that we saw. On booking.com it said breakfast was included with the room but it was not.

I love the security for the elevators, I felt extremely safe. The food was amazing, different plate sets are always great to see/try. The space in the room with a crazy dope view. Being downtown where there’s so many options for food, exploring and city life. The staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. They also move so quickly, the longest I’ve waited for guest services was between 5-8 minutes, definitely felt like a priority.
The blanket was the thinnest hotel blanket I’ve ever had and I was just cold even with the heat on. The minor hot water in the shower not working, was fixed by a room change. And how the towels and sheets are getting to a point where new ones are needed.

It was clean with a very friendly and welcoming staff, plus the location was convenient for everything that I had to do. But for the price of my stay, I think that they should offer at least a free breakfast.
The fact that they tapped on an extra charge to my card before I checked out.

Our room was comfortable, and clean. We really enjoyed the bar. The blonde lady bartender (I’ve completely forgotten her name, sorry!) was very cool, and picked our bourbon flight for us, which was fun. The views were nice, and we were a short distance from everything we were looking to do.
I got a bit lost at first and had to get back on the interstate and go all the way back around, the sign was tiny and I missed it. But it wasn’t too hard to get back.
