Holiday Inn Charlotte Center City, an IHG Hotel

Great location at a great price. I was only passing through town but found so much to do within a 15 minute walk of the hotel. Staff was super quick with recommendations for food, entertainment, etc. Really knew their stuff.

Not much. One of the towels was stained. Oh no! lol

Very close to the transit center and the convention center. Less than a ten minute walk for either one. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Hotel restaurant was great, and a famous Soul Food restaurant is also next door. Also within walking distance to indoor food courts in the Downtown office district. I visited for the Heroes Comic Convention and I hope to rebook at this hotel for next year's show.

No complaints. Wanted to check out the fitness center but didn't have time to make it there. I did hear some plumbing noise but this was clearly explained during checking, that the hotel underwent some plumbing maintenance, and that the plumbing work at my room was timed according to a schedule given to me at check-in. Again, no complaints, really.

The property was clean, close to everything I was interested in, and the front desk staff was superb!

There was only one entrance into the hotel and the parking garage was a bit of a walk. I requested housekeeping every other day, and they never came. I even called to request clean towels, and still nothing.

Our carpet was wet between the bed and air conditioner, this caused an odor, but other than that it was wonderful

Holiday Inn Charlotte Center City is the best hotel in the city for your "all-access pass" to all the entertainment and dining experiences. I have stayed at this Holiday Inn several times to attend concerts, and they have all been within walking distance from the hotel! The hotel is also very clean and comfortable, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and the restaurant/room service is excellent! I have always enjoyed my stay there, and I will continue to come back to this hotel when I visit Charlotte again! Thank you!

Nothing! Everything was perfect!

The location was great and the room size was acceptable. The hotel was neat and was a great place to be. Even the decor was superb. The staff at the reception and the concierge was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we do not remember his name. This place was ideal for me because most of the attractions i wanted to visit were very close walking distance, Nascar museum and museum of illusions and even food outlets.

I guess there was nothing.

Great central location, nice staff, nice rooftop outdoor pool! Comfortable smaller rooms.

We were greeted by an amazing individual working the valet. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Each customer was his priority and I felt we made a great choice just from our interactions with him. The front desk was fantastic and efficient. Our room was ready upon arrival and there were no delays. The location is absolutely fantastic! We could walk all over the city and it was an easy fifteen-minute walk to Bank of America Stadium. My wife loved the Chef's chicken and waffles. She is still talking about them! We enjoyed the feedback from the hotel team giving us ideas on where to get coffee, lunch, etc. Our checkout was just as amazing. Quick and fast with the same amazing valet service. Please don't forget to tip your valet! They make it so easy and less stressful.

I was disappointed with the service during our breakfast Sunday. The Chef was fantastic and ran all over the kitchen area, and I know there are shortages, but we seemed like a burden anytime we asked for an item from our server. We went in and there were only 5 guests at the time. We paid $50 for coffee, and buffet and my wife had the chicken and waffles, but for the price, I felt like I should have had a little more service. If it wasn't raining we would have definitely rather supported a local business.

Ideal location right in heart of the city, plenty of coffee/dining/snacking locations within walking distance; also places of interest, sports stadia and museums - most of the walking is flat so easily accessible. Informed and helpful staff throughout. Large multistorey car park adjacent to hotel, pick up ticket on entry and have it validated at hotel. Nice to have Gideon Bible in room.

Little from our perspective, perhaps a few more coffee pods (only 2 per day in room), and some more vending machines.

Location was great, the hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. Staff was excellent.

Breakfast was supposed to be included. It was not. We walked 5 minutes to Red Eye Diner. It was pricey, but fiid was great. There was no direct access from the hotel to the parking garage. You had to walk almost a block to access the parking garage elevator. I had a bum leg, so this may not be an issue to others. There was a mad rush after the football game to get checked in. The line was out the door and took about about an hour to get our room key. Then someone tripped the fire alarm, so it took us another 45 minutes to get to our room.
