Comfort Inn & Suites Hillsville I-77

I love this hotel! It has become my go to spot when I travel here. They keep the place clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They keep fruited ice water and fruit in the front for the guests. I also like that, even though they are close to a major and very busy Highway you can’t hear any road noise. Always quiet which is nice! The hotel is actually across the street from an excellent restaurant which I love! 😊♥️👍

Didn’t particularly like my shower head. Couldn’t get it to set on the spray I like. But that really isn’t a big deal for me.

The location was perfect for us, almost exactly the half way point of our trip. Pretty decent access to I-77. Nice, clean facility and comfortable bed. Found a really good Mexican restaurant a few miles from the hotel, There are two with the same name, same owner (we asked our waitress), but the one a little further way looked like better ambiance.

The hotel staff was clueless about the special request I had made for our stay. According to "Booking.com", the request was granted but the hotel staff knew nothing about it. They did honor it and we ultimately got our request. Simple request, we wanted ground floor. We are not spring chickens anymore and using the stairs in case of emergency, difficult. Not sure who dropped the ball?

Breakfast was 10+. Hot (omlett, sausages, biscuits, gravy, waffles). Gentleman serving breakfast was very friendly and courteous. Gave us takeaway bag. We took 2 dole fruit cups and 2 frosted flaked, but there was LOOOOTS to chose from, including fresh fruits. Linda at reception 11:30PM was 10+. She was very kind to take the extra time to search through to find us a quiet room. Room was perfect. She also told us during weekdays the breakfast is available before 6:30am if we have to leave earlier. I was happy to see her the next morning to tell her thanks for a nice room and stay, as she was still working the next morning. Parking lot was 10+. It is very brightly lit and appeared safe to leave all our belonging and bikes outside.

Our stay was too short. We will definately book this hotel when we go south again next year. We may stay an extra day to sight see the area. Nothing bad to report whatsoever! Our stay was 10+. Thanks for a great stay!

rooms were spacious for 2 queen beds, tv was large and everyone could see it, we brought our fire stick and they provided us with a remote to use it, which was so nice. I had surgery the day before we stayed here, so we were just stopping for 1 night so we wouldn’t have to drive the whole way back home in 1 day, so we planned to hang out at the hotel. The breakfast was amazing! The indoor heather pool and gym looked nice too, but because of my surgery I couldn’t use them. I highly recommend this hotel! will definitely stay again when traveling through.

The hotel was meticulously well kept. Very comfortable beds. There was so much variety and so many choices to meet everyone’s needs. There was so much room for the food to be displayed. The young man who was in charge was so helpful and accommodating . We couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you. We liked it so much we decided to stay at a Comfort Inn in Charlotte, hoping for the same experience but that hotel really feel short of our experience in Hillsville.

Nothing.

The two gentlemen who worked in the afternoon of our stay were extremely nice. Check in was seamless. Both provided us with an awesome place to eat and were extremely knowledgeable about the local area. Both took great pride in making sure we were very welcomed and they really love thier hometown. The hotel is located in the mountains off I-77 so the views going in and leaving are absolutely spectacular.

I can't really think of anything negative to say. It was a value for the room. The property was clean and the location was great.

Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of choices. Location was very good and our room was very good. We had a king bed and also a couch in our room which we very much enjoyed because we were able to really relax and enjoy our stay before having to leave the next morning. Staff was great and very accommodating.

We found nothing that we didn't like. No complaints !!!

We originally had an issue with the toilette. The front desk attendant was quick to help but was unable to resolve. The owner became involved and was not able to fix the problem. He moved us to a another room which ended up being a bit larger. We were given a small goody bag, also. I was impressed that the situation was made right and relatively quick. The staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was great also with quite a large selection of items.

I stayed there twice. Once 5/26 and then on way back home 6/3 both times weee late check ins and manager Dave called to check on us and our arrival time and wished us safe travels! And the night staff were awesome! I travel to North Carolina by car at least once a year and I will stay the on my way down and back all the time!!

We stopped here overnight on our way to the beach. It was very easy to find and right off the interstate. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. The lady at the front desk was super nice both checking in and checking out.

The only con was our room had kind of a musty smell.
