Castlewood Inn

There was an issue with booking on our part, not the motels problem. Without going into details the manager helped us out and took cate of the problem. He did not have to, being the fault was mine. Very good staff, quiet, and clean. Location is on west end of town just past the fairground, so keep that in mind if you need on east end. Will stay there again and recommend.

Shower head didn't move. After a long day of dirt biking I got into the shower and set it on message. Wanted to lean against wall and let water beat on my back. The shower head would not angle to do that. Only sprayed into middle of shower. May have just been my room that was that way.

the room was newly renovated, carpet clean, conditioner was old but working fine. New TV, chairs and so on. Overall, pleasant and very clean and safe.

few small things, like there were 2 WIFI network to connect and only one worked (took some time to figure that out), no exhaust in the bathroom but there is a small window with a nice view of the greenhouse (very private window, no one can look into it! so its not a concern)...

Castle wood inn was literally right in the center of everything! The staff was beyond amazing! I had a last minute virtual job interview and we arrived to town around 10:30 with check in being at 3:00. We went to the hotel and the staff was so accommodating! They even offered to let me use the lobby to do my interview if needed but they were able to get me into my room 15 minutes before my interview!! The property was pet friendly and everyone was super sweet to my dog every time I walked her! I also felt safe leaving her at the property. Minutes from 2 major elk viewing locations and a beautiful waterfall. Incredible Mountain View’s from the rocking chairs on every porch!

The rooms were a little dated but all the good made up for this. The WiFi didn’t always work but was back on within a few minutes. This was most likely due to the hotel being full and everyone using the WiFi.

Great customer service. The manager was amazing, with the arrival and answered all the questions I had. We will definitely be back to stay here. I am picky about hotels I stay at but this was an excellent experience. Walk outside your door to an incredible Mountain View, putt putt and our lunch spot was only a walk away. Clean and cozy room. Prefect place to stay! I am looking forward to planning another trip soon and making reservations through booking with them. Our room was ready when we arrived. The gentleman that runs this hotel made sure everything was right and prefect for our stay! Thank you!

my wife and I thought the staff at this hotel was great and did all they can to make us happy the hotel room was clean it smelled great it was close to Cherokee about 13 miles away also there was plenty of places around the hotel although most of the places to eat at closed about 9 p.m. every night so if you stay here and Maggie Valley make sure you plan your eating times accordingly we do not plan our time accordingly so one night we had to go to Dollar General but it was fine they have microwaves in the rooms and that was all we needed to have dinner all the rooms here seem to have no smoking will you spell smoke but they have places outside that you can smoke which is okay with us so only thing I can say is keep up the good work and we will be back someday and we will let all our friends know this will be a good place to stay that's not too expensive

My wife and I did not have anything we didn't like at this hotel I even stayed two more nights I was not planning to stay longer but the hotel was so good and a good location

Cherokee NC was so booked for the weekend they was a poker tournament..so busy and no rooMs so we tried out this castlewood inn ...to our surprise it was very nice, comfortable and will be going back

There was nothing we did not like. Everything was great. Loved the rockers outside.

The location and view of the mountains were great and besides the shirt, everything was clean. I also liked that they are pet friendly.

The bed was very uncomfortable, they need to upgrade the beds and the microwaves. A shirt was left behind in our bathroom by the guest before us, so you could tell they didn't thoroughly check. Also we had the do not disturb sign on our door, but the housekeeper still came in anyway.

Your staff was very friendly room was clean love the view it rained but we still had a good time very nice I will recommend it to family and friends your conventlylocated close to shopping and restaurants will definitely be back thanks for having us

We love the stay .we left a bag by acciCherokee. It being a black bag it blended with the carpet in our room 205 and couldn't reach staff to tell them, it was a gift from the Harley Davidson shop cherokee.

We needed extra towels we had to wait for them,

It is in a great location and very convenient. Me and husband loved that there was a mini good next door!

The bathroom was small and the stopper didn’t work for you to take a bath.
