Holiday Inn Cincinnati-Eastgate, an IHG Hotel

The restaurant has amazing food! We liked that the hot tub was big enough for more people than just 2 people. The breakfast was good. (BOOK A ROOM THAT INCLUDES BREAKFAST) You'll thank me later. The layout of the hotel was somewhat difficult, but we manage to go exploring to find our way around. The staff was friendly. Rooms we're clean. We had a weak spot in our floor, but it didn't ruin our experience.

I would definitely recommend booking a room that includes breakfast. If you don't, you'll have to pay $16.95 to eat. Thankfully when I booked, I made sure to include breakfast.

The staff at the front desk was incredible. Very friendly and informative. We had everything we needed in our room. The lobby was BEAUTIFUL. This is our go-to place to stay at when we visit friends in Cincinnati for the weekend!

We give it at 10/10 but if we were forced to find something to improve on - we would have probably brought our own pillows. We each had two pillows but they still didn't quite add up to one that we have at home. We slept great though!

Even though located very close to the highway, the room was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The man that checked us in was very courteous and handled our registration very quickly. Also, they provided Dove products in the bathrooms and not those overly scented soaps and shampoos. For someone with very sensitive skin, that was a very pleasant surprise as I’d failed to pack my soap from home

Easy to find room and park and get in multiple doors.

Only thing is they just need to modernize update the room and decor. Deff looks like 90s/early 2000s style hotels even had a phone in the bathroom lol. But it was clean, the ac worked great, & the staff was super nice and friendly. We were there for the Taylor Swift concert & it was perfect being only 20 mins from downtown.

I liked the location and the cleanliness of the room. first hotel I've stayed at that the shower was made for tall people, had great water pressure and definitely the hottest water I've experienced in a hotel. staff was professional and friendly.

The hallway by elevator and doorways could use some vacuuming. quite a bit of dirt build up in doorway 1.

Room and amenities fully met my expectations for a mid-range hotel. Nothing exceptionally fancy, but clean and secure. Convenient to area shopping, although I spent most of my time on-site for an event I was attending. Good conference venue.

Keycards were a little wonky, and didn't always work on the first try. But they *did* work, eventually (one occasion took three tries). Restaurant seemed a little short staffed on Saturday, but the wait staff did a good job accommodating the customers.

The lady that checked us in on Saturday was not friendly or helpful at all. I had my reservation from when I booked online she told me it wasn’t in the computer system and I showed it on my phone and she could care less. It was actually ridiculous. After I asked her to check a couple times she finally found it.

The breakfast was very good. A good variety to choose from. Hostess/waitress was very friendly and helpful. The view of the waterfall was really nice as we ate.

My only complaint was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. It made it uncomfortable and hot after a shower. The sink was very slow to drain.

The breakfast was great, the lady in charge treated us differently than she did other guests.(not in a good way) the AGM was outstanding with his recommendations and information. We would gladly come back for that type of customer service

We weren't able to control the thermostat. Also, we found a wallet.. in the desk chair. had been there for over a month.. whos cleaning these rooms? or inspecting them.. a month goes by and no one notices? we sent it back to Mr. Barclay via Priority Mail

The location was fine and the first floor room was great.

Breakfast could have been included in the rate.You had coffee out for customers but nothing else for people who didn’t drink coffee.Most places I stay give us free bottled water but there was none.
