Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Cleveland - Independence

Room was spacious. Requested a first floor room close to entrance bc my parents were with me and they was able to accommodate that!

Everywhere and our room was nice n clean except our room floor. The carpet was ripping up in places. we found fake nails on floor. Looked as if floor hasn’t been swept. Was candle wax stains on carpet and melted was in the trash can from previous renter. But other than needing socks to walk in room which I didn’t have none, it served our overnight stay purpose. I would return.

Check-in was super easy, and very welcoming for our dog!

Post-Covid, it's disappointing to read "complimentary breakfast" and find pre-packaged hard boiled eggs, instant oatmeal (no bowls), granola bars, and yogurt. Yes, it's technically breakfast, but it would be more appropriate to call it "take away breakfast snacks." We are at another Hyatt in another town tonight, and their "complimentary breakfast" offers cereal, toast, fruit, and juice as well as cooked eggs. A more accurate description would be helpful.

Breakfast was so tasty and consistently so. The room was clean, quiet and well arranged. We tried to buy a pillow for my wife but couldn't do so...it was the exact size to accommodate her neck and she slept wonderfully. Although we mis-booked and were 30 miles from our work location, it turned out wonderfully for the reasons I mentioned.

Well...we much desired having more religious options on the TV (TBN, Daystar, etc) but we plugged in her IPAD and streamed what we needed. We appreciate having a TV there that accommodated that option. If you're a Christian and haven't tuned to TBN, you're missing so much 'blessing' in your life! The teaching-preaching is exceptional...you'll watch it constantly or as much as you can!!

Location and employee. Mostly clean. I needed an outlet to plug /charger cell phone. Forgot plug to charge, willing to buy...commuting to cleveland clinic cancer bldg. Taussig. Nice place to relax

I needed a way to charge cell phone. Have cord but no plug. Stain on couch. I usually Carry foam and blanket to cover , but forgot . Phone could use alcohol wipe down, has dirt on buttons. Otherwise very nice and clean..my fault for forgetting my medicine and plug to insert cell cord. After eating stores closed

we brought our dog. typically when we stay at pet friendly hotels the grounds are disgusting. they are full of dog feces to the point where it’s hard to walk through the grass. the grounds here were very clean, well cared for, and there was plenty of grass to walk the dog. i also loved that it was back off the road and had sidewalks to actually walk him where I wasn’t stuck out on a busy street. the room was a great size!

there wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I wish we could’ve been on the first floor since we had our dog but I understood there was nothing left there and the man at the front desk explained that he usually does put people with dogs on the first floor but when we called to tell them we were bringing our dog they forgot to notate it on our reservation. mistakes happen, we understand that.

The room was a nice size and very spacious. The double beds are small but overall the room was nice. And the staff was all very nice.

Breakfast was good but a cluster. The staff clearly struggled to keep up and a lot of people gave up and ate something small so they wouldn’t have to wait. The staff was nice and was trying hard but another person would have been helpful to keep things full and clean. The pool was freezing and lots of unsupervised children. The pool area also needed a good clean. Lots of hair and some mold. Definitely a tough area to keep clean but we are avid swimmers and would not go back to that pool. The walking areas need to be scrubbed occasionally and someone should monitor that kids are not left alone. There were lots of towels tho and that was nice.

I liked that the property was in an area that felt safe, was quiet, and close to restaurants and freeways. The room was lovely and spacious.

No USB portals. What?!?! In 2023? When I asked the next day they said, “Yeah, some rooms gave them.” I would have given this place all top ratings if not for that. Also when I pulled out a drawer there was a glob of lotion on the rim of the drawer. and the elevator floors were filthy. Ewwww So class to bring great.

We were welcomed very well. We had everything we needed. We will be using your hotel in the near future for a week or 2, my husband is waiting for a lung transplant, so I need a safe and not so far from Cleveland Clinic. I spoke with the Mgr Kanga Sox who was very kind and gave me a reasonable rate when I need come back. Highly recommend Stay America

It would be nice to offer more for the breakfast. But other than that, nothing else.

the room was very nice, clean, and had nice extras like coffee in the room. Delicious breakfast in the morning. The woman at the front desk in the morning was very pleasant and kind, and she was also helping with breakfast.

There was an altercation with a guest in the morning in the lobby that was loud and uncomfortable. The hotel handled it by calling the police (who came quickly and took them to the side). However, the personnel continued to talk about the situation in pairs or groups of 3. As a doctors office manager, I found that inappropriate. It’s going to happen, but it should be out of the sight and earshot of guests. Also, the woman on the desk when we checked in was not pleasant. She spoke quickly and was difficult to understand. And she was not warm or welcoming at all.

Clean , Expansive suite. A;ll to myself! The room was very clean and the King Size bed was very nice. I was surprised by the bargain price for such a big room. I've stayed in other brands, but this was way over the top great. No complaints. I booked using Booking.com and was very happy with this place and the price. No Breakfast though because it's an extended stay. That was OK because I had to get moving early anyways.
