Renaissance Cleveland Hotel

The staff was very friendly. I always appreciate when a hotel offers me water upon arrival and at departure 😄 The bed was very comfortable. The room temperature was at 65° when we arrived which was perfect. Also, the fan/AC ran all night which helped me sleep 😴 There wasn't a lack of hot water at all which was great for bathing and cleaning up. If you wanted to drink water from the sink you'd need ice for sure. The location was great. The square across the street has good coffee. We were able to walk to and from the fieldhouse to see the concert we came for. I don't recommend walking alone at night though. I loved the art throughout the hotel!

The bathroom definitely could have been cleaner. It was fine in the main areas (floor, sink, tub, toilet) but the tile by the ceiling and in the corners/against the walls was a bit neglected. The rest of the room was clean. Parts of the hotel were under construction so I wasn't bothered by the little extra dust outside the room.

The room on the 9th floor was comfortable, clean and inviting. Staff were always helpful even when crowds were seeking attention. The layout was good and very suitable for the conference. The decor was inviting and added to the overall atmosphere. A very pleasant stay!

There was frequently a problem with the lifts/elevators. This caused frustration at times when people were trying to get to conference sessions on time. Probably the weather could have been better organised - all great hotels have that power??

The hotel was in the perfect location. We were able to walk to The Flats which is where we were hanging out for the evening. It was also an easy location to catch an Uber or Lyft. There is a walkway to the Casino as well.

We didn’t realize our visit was in the same day MGK was in town so parking was tough. Valet parking closed down just before checkin because they ran out of spots. We got lucky and were able to find a spot in self park.

Beautifully ornate turn of the century architecture was lit dark & dimly. The Entry needed more room for more than 2 vehicles. Perhaps a doorman or a valet. (It was Thu. Valet is only Fri-Sun.) Having to pay for wi-fi. It bugged my son. His comment; "hell McDonalds GIVES you wifi". Not getting wifi or Netflix or Hulu for free bugged him. That's half the fun of a Hotel room. You get to see pay channels for a couple of days for free. Had you stayed at my place I wouldn't squeeze you for Netflix. I'm embarrassed to say anything negative at all since it was enchanting.

The hotel was beautiful. Very clean. Only complaint was I called the hotel and spoke to a women who was very rude. I asked her if our room had a microwave and refrigerator. She said Yes, they all do!! So we brought food and drinks. No place to put the drinks or heat up our food. Room #873. We were bit upset about that. Also we were supposed to get a text when our room was ready but didnt get one till 8:23 pm. We had been in our room since 4pm. Overall we had a nice time!

The hotel is beautiful and location was awesome, but our room was not clean. When we returned to our room late that evening and was getting ing in the bed, we noticed that the sheets were dirty and had not been changed since the previous occupant. We also notice that the room had not been vacuumed. Upon contacting the front desk they informed us that housekeeping was available, so they moved us to another room and we had to move with our pajamas on at midnight.

Cleaner room

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect. I really like the style of the interior of the hotel itself.

The only thing that I didn't like was the sound, we could hear anyone in the hallway, even if they were just talking in a normal voice we could hear them almost like they were in the same room.

The room was a bit small, but could use another (small) chair. The heating was hard to regulate. The breakfast buffet was mixed - fresh fruit was wonderful, eggs were tasteless and runny.

Hotel is connected to tower city mall and the Jack casino. We booked a room overlooking the city center with the Christmas lights and ice rink and the view was fabulous. The room was also quite large which was a pleasant surprise.

The hotel itself is beautiful, but the rooms, particularly the bathrooms need a little refresh.

Nice room, great breakfast, and great staff! Also love that the hotel is connected to Tower City, Jack Casino, and Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse; we attended the Cavs and Lakers game.

Sucky view. Not much else to dislike, we enjoyed our stay.
