Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland Downtown

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We came at a very busy time and the concierge was doing multiple things and forgot to tell us a few things about the room. We would have liked if he would have slowed down and focused on each guest and check them in completely before moving on to other guests.

I didn't like that the breakfast was not included and we had to pay an extra fee to be able to have breakfast. Also, it was priced to high for what was provided for the buffet. The food that we had was good but just not a lot of options.

Our flight came in earlier than check in time and James the manager on duty checked us in early. The room and the facilities were clean, the location was perfect in the heart of the city. I would stay recommend Hilton Garden Hotel, as well as I would stay with them again. The name speaks for it's self.

Access to the pool is through the lobby. On two occasions leaving and returning to the hotel the floor was wet with little puddles of water. In the lobby and the elevator was wet with no wet floor signage in place. This can cause injury to guests staying at the hotel. It would be an asset, rather than a liability if the Hilton institute a rule; that guests using the pool should ensure when they are returning to their rooms, they are dry and not having water splattered all over the floor. This devalues the hotels standards.

Had a nice room on the 7th floor, with a good view out over Cleveland. Room was presented clean, no complaints, however as it seems with most hotels at the moment no servicing of rooms was done during our three night stay. Open air parking in hotel parking lot, was easily to access for unloading and loading of car, although car parking was chargable on a daily rate, no issues with in and out access.

Bed was rather firm and solid, which my wife found a little uncomfortable, could have done with a new mattress..

Great location, Cleveland was a stopover for us so while in town went to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which was OK no need to go back and then a Guardians game. Hotel was right across street from stadium :). Went to The Clevelander and The Thirsty Parrot to eat and drink before game, highly recommend both. Hotel was great, location staff, parking. Would stay again if ever back in town.

Only negative and its minor was the coffee in lobby, but that just me otherwise loved hotel.

We went to Cleveland to visit the Christmas Story House. This hotel was a short drive to there. The beds were comfortable. The room was quiet. We went down to the bar to have a few drinks and the bartender was friendly and professional. She made us a drink We wanted that wasn't on the menu. Perfect! Lots of bars, clubs, restaurants, stadium all within a short drive. Would definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay and all of the amenities especially the restaurant. I like that the hotel is in a great location for additional attractions. The staff were very nice and the drinks were delicious. The overall the experience was a good one.

I would say paying for parking wasn't the most affordable option. I feel that I'm paying to stay at a hotel, the parking should be included. I will say the rate of parking was lower than some, but if I had any complaint that would be it.

Staff was excellent and the facilities were great. We had a concert at the stadium so the location was fantastic for that. Overall, we had a great experience

The bed was quite different than the one we were used to and it felt like you sank down in it. It was slightly hard to get out of or to move during the night. I also, have never stayed at a hotel that charges $21 per day to park there so I was a little disappointed in that.

No linen/towel service without asking for it. Rude servers in the restaurant. Hotel was fine, but the little things to make it better were lacking and their only excuse when my wife asked about those things was “all hotels are like thing now because of Covid”…really? All hotels don’t give it their best efforts? Too easy! It wasn’t the worst experience and I might stay there again, but I will definitely look at all other options first.

The serving attitude of the restaurant staff was the most annoying. Others coming out of the restaurant said “there is a diner 1/2 mile away…do yourself a favor and find it” so it wasn’t only us who were disappointed.

I have stayed at this location before and it has always been amazing. Perfect location for nearby stadiums and restaurants.

We did have an issue with a guest staying right next door to us. Around 3am they came to room with numerous other people. Very loud and obnoxious. They even knocked on our adjoining room door. We called down to front desk and security was quick to respond. We greatly appreciated this.

As we expected, the room was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable and the room size was generous. A great stay, as long as we stayed in our room! Ha!

The drinks at Harvey's were way over-priced and disappointing. We booked because a breakfast was included in the price, only to be told at our Friday night check-in that breakfast is included ONLY Monday through Friday mornings. The false advertising online was not appreciated, and something not expected for a hotel with Hilton's excellent reputation.
