River House Inn

It was clean and a great location for walking to many local shops/boutiques and lots of yummy places to eat and great views of the bay. Staff was friendly and super helpful and it was quiet and relaxing. A great place to stay and we will be back!

They don’t have air conditioning (not that you probably need it most of the year) but a fan you plug in. It was fine and we were comfortable, it was just a surprise. The T.V. was difficult to use but we spent most of our time outside exploring so it was fine.

This establishment's pictures on booking do not do it justice! The room was extremely comfortable with lots of storage space and a very comfortable bed. The carpet was new, the fixtures were new, the flooring and tiling were new. It was lovely to have a table with two chairs (something many hotels are getting rid of as they are catering to business people with the one desk one chair thing) so that we could play games and eat leftovers or snacks. The view was great and the extra touch of having chairs and a table on the balcony was appreciated.

They did not havebreakfast available...one of those poor "Covid" excuses. That was a bit disappointing, but the Little Brown Hen restaurant was worth the extra visits there!!

Great location. Excellent shower water pressure. Was right on the river had a good balcony so could watch the boats. We walked from our hotel to shops & restaurants.

No air conditioning luckily we didn't need it was 80ish one of our days the fan helped. To much furniture in the room. Bathroom was small.

There was no breakfast available. The location was so close to many eating options that we could walk to. Loved having our balcony to sit outside and enjoy our cocktails, and then coffee in the morning!

My only complaint is the toilet. So low to the ground, hard to get up with bad knees. Need a bar installed on the wall.

Location is good. Had a room with balcony overlooking the Siuslaw River. That was fun. The bed, however was REALLY hard! Stayed here 3 years ago on a family vacation and was happy to stay again. YES, I would recommend this place.

Rock hard bed. Woke up with pain from that.

The room was spacious, the view incredible and the makeup mirror was a nice touch!! the location and convenience of being able to walk to restaurants was a definte PLUS!!

The noise from cars going over the bridge took some "getting used to"!!!

The room and property were very clean. The river view was nice. The location is very close to downtown by the river where there are multiple restaurants/pubs/shops. The front desk staff was wonderful both at check in and check out.

Although the room was freshly painted and very clean it lacked modern conveniences such as USB ports and lacked most channels on tv (not that it mattered since we were out most of the time). Honestly a little overpriced given the lack of updates.

LOCATION: We had nice rooms overlooking the river. However nearby there is a bridge with a metal section in the middle, so every time a car would cross the bridge that metal would make noise. All night!It was difficult to fell asleep. And it woke me up at night as well...

The view was fabulous - The Siuslaw River, sand dunes and a classic bridge! Location was walkable to town. No breakfast at the Inn due to Covid, but breakfast places walkable.

Need to update the curtains and make the sliding glass door to the balcony easier to open. It needs a tune-up, but when we called the front desk, they came immediately and helped us open it.

beautiful view of the river. could sit on the balcony and enjoy coffee. easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. the rooms were large and the bed was very comfortable. we were able to check in early and staff were very accommodating.
