Villa West Motel

It was a clean room with a comfortable bed. The shower had good water pressure and hot water. The central Oregon coast is beautiful and we spend most of our time exploring and have little need for hotel amenities. Clean and comfortable with a good hot shower is all we wanted and the Villa West provides this at a great value. Interaction with staff was minimal but professional and friendly.

Location & value

Car noise from being on hwy 101. Maybe suggest ear plugs to guess when they check in. Also, we had a 2nd room booked for 2 nights. They over charged us & I had to call to get a adjustment. They had 2 dogs at $25/night for each dog. A little spendy $$$ BUT, very happy we could find a hotel that took dogs at the last minute of a situation we had.

The bed was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and the room was clean. Good amenities. Good location, easy check in and check out.

The bathroom floor was freshly cleaned which was great but there was a slippery film after it dried that was not very safe. Toilet was really really low but other than that it was great! The lighting was a little harsh.

The room was remodeled. New paint and especially liked the Dolphen decoration. Beautiful paintings on the walls. Microwave a bit small but adequate. Also, the refrigerator is small but adequate. I would have liked to have a coffee pot in the room. Although it is on the coast, I would like to have airconditioning available. A fan would also be helpful. A pillowtop covering on the mattress would make it more comfortable. The toilet is small and too low. The shower has a high, adjustable head, which is much better than other places we have stayed. Overall, the room was very comfortable. They have done a great job on the remodeling.

A taller Toilet would be much better. Airconditioning would be nice. A coffee maker diffinitely is needed. They have done what they could to provide closet space but it leaves a little to be desired, as the microwave and refrigerator are under the clothes bar. But, Hey, it is still comfortable and it doesn't cost as much as other motels in town.

Great location easy to find, clean updated rooms cozy use of space. Amazing value for the price.

Hwy can be a little loud at times but over all it's not difficult to drown out the hyw sounds. I would have like more information about the TV we don't have cable so we didn't know what channels to watch and when we tried to watch something interesting TV said not paid for.

Very clean room. Check-in was fast and easy. Parking was adequate. Close to shopping.

This problem is not the fault of the motel. It is located at one of the busiest and loudest intersections in Florence. Lots of traffic and noise. The motel is still a great place to stay despite this.

The location is good for a few days of touring. The room was clean. Floors not as clean. But that is a problem with most motels I stay at. Right on highway but quiet at night. I would stay there again.

A little pricey for me but still cheapest in Florence which is overpriced.

clean, comfortable, had a fridge and a microwave, decent water pressure in the shower. staff printed the day pass needed for our stops in the siuslaw forest the next day - much appreciated!
