Days Inn by Wyndham Black Bear

Better then our stay in February. I like the style with all exterior doors and there was ample parking options. The room was clean and we had 2 bars of soap and enough towels on this visit. The grass was ample for pets and I liked the dedicated pet rooms so make clear booking.

Still no breakfast and coffee is inconvenient since it is only in the lobby. They rented out their conference center for a party, The party was very noisy until 10pm including the security alarm going off for about 30 minutes and you couldn't access most of the grass during that time. Then they lite off fireworks to end the party. Since this is a dog friendly location I had my noise sensitive dog who was then panicked all night and couldn't compete in the agility trial the next day. The hotel could have made us aware of the party at check in or not put us in a room directly across from the conference center.

Love how pet friendly the property is! Not only the availability of rooms, but the sizes are great. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Their dog walking yard/area is AMAZING! Very big, beautiful, green, well maintained and lit, access to poo bags and receptical to clean up after your dogs too!

I wish more pet owners respected the property and cleaned up after their dogs as well as the leash requirements. Not having access to the pool, spa, hot tub and dining room for breakfast was a real let down. But we can't fault the facility for taking a proactive approach to COVID.

Terrible. A bag lunch for breakfast was not good

Liked the close proximity to I5, large department store (Fred Meyer), and various food options. Price per night was reasonable. Bed was super comfy with ample pillows.

Didn't care for a few sketchy people/cars hanging around in the parking area leading up to the hotel entrance. (Not hotel property) Air conditioner was a little noisy.

I was able to quickly and easily make reservations on my phone, and then check in shortly after that. The beds and pillows were easily the most comfortable I've ever used, and the room was spacious and clean. Staff went out of their way to help resolve our ac not working, and quickly considering it was a Friday evening. We had our Doberman with us during our stay, and this was no issue at all.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic and state closures, neither the pool or hot tub were opened and available for use. I guess under normal circumstances breakfast is included with your stay, but we were not able to figure out where to pick up the pre-made breakfasts provided. Not a huge deal. When. We arrived, we couldn't get the ac in our room to work. So my daughter went to talk to the front desk. The lady ended up coming down to try and solve the issue for us. She was unable to, so called her manager. Shortly after that we had a Maintenance guy working on the ac unit. He even left an industrial strength fan to help the room cool down faster.

Unit was very clean, the beds fantastic especially the 4 nice pillows on each bed. I am a pillow snob, they passed my test. I even brought my own just in case. But the unit must have been a smoking unit for a long time, because it still had that old lingering smokers odor. maybe in the carpet, walls or ceiling?? who knows. a air freshener would have been nice. Its an older motel. it was a good value for what we paid for the night, 2 nice beds for my parents and i. I should have inquired about a handicap room. my mother didn't fair well getting out of the tub. a shower would have been better. The room was noisy, being next to the freeway. you can hear the road noise, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I went to sleep. Sad no continental breakfast. I cant wait for Covid to be be over and gone. we did not get the snack bar and juice they offered because we were going to the WORD OF MOUTH. Go there for breakfast!

the old smokers odor. an air freshener would help.

the pool and hot tub were great for keeping the kids busy and relaxing my muscles after hiking silver falls.

the door to our room looked like it had been vandalised and broken into. the bathroom floor near the door was cracked. there were homeless people in the field behind the hotel.

the room was really great, fredmeyer a gas station Dennys were walking distance. easy check in and check out.

we did find a sock and headband under our bed. the lighting was weird, couldn’t use lamps and plugs without having other lights on. but would stay still

I liked everything

That the bathroom didn't have a shower curtain, and when we showered all the water went out to the whole bathroom we practically used the towels to dry the floor and we had to dry ourselves with the little towels 👎

We liked the cleanliness on comfort of beds. We tented a room with 2 queen beds and a twin. It was perfect. I loved that there was a different firmness to the pillows.

When we got to our room, there was no electricity to any of the lights. The toilet plugged and I had to plunge it myself.
