I came in to Pitt to attend a convention, and while the distance from the con center was longer than I expected, this location proved to be such a comfortable motel!!! It blew my mind at how new and clean it felt. The beds were comfortable, the full refrigerator was a big surprise, and the staff? Absolutely marvelous!! It was the perfect place for someone in a group to stay, especially with having a small pet!

My only qualm was that while we were out, the air conditioner was turned off while we were in the midst of July heat. By the time we came back, it was excruciatingly warm. Had to leave a note on the AC to make sure it didn't happen again. Otherwise, no issues!

Beautiful little gem of a place. Gorgeous landscaping and well kept rooms and grounds. Very friendly staff. Room was cozy and the bathroom was spacious. Even tho I didn't need it, I like that the tub had an optional seat you could fold down from the wall for people with mobility issues or difficulty standing. She wasn't with me this time but it's the kind of thing my mother would need and not many places take that into consideration

Tv was a little glitchy but not a big deal. A little out of the way from downtown Pittsburgh but I think the ten minute drive was worth it for the affordable price, lovely space, and the quiet!

I chose this hotel for the location. Close to restaurants and shopping. I only planned on staying for one night, so I chose the least expensive room. No frills since I planned to only sleep there. The price was right. It was very clean and looked like it was brand new. I have stayed in hotels that cost a lot more for the same type of room and been upset because it had cobwebs in the corners, cracks on walls and chocking around the tubs. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

There was no breakfast but they had the never ending coffee pot ready all through the day and night. The staff was very helpful with directions, suggestions, and genuine friendliness. Great patio with beautiful planters just to sit and enjoy the cross breeze especially since it was very hot during our stay.

I didn't have a "handle" for the bathtub - a little slippery for anyone let alone older patrons. Would have liked at least continental style breakfast or pastries available (with the coffee). rooms are somewhat smaller than I anticipated since we were staying for 6 days and not enough hangers available.

This is a little jewel of a place. Fifties style motel with a face-lift still in progress. Rooms are a little tight to today's standard, but they are cozy and clean. Anyone with an eye can see the place was built with a vision, and the current owners seem empassioned about reviving that vision. The stonework and terracing are very well done and expressive of the natural environment. Staff is homey and welcoming. It is an easy drive (25-30 mins) to the University of Pittsburgh, affordable, and pet friendly.

A dumpster is out in the common parking area, for want of space, I imagine. Again, rooms are a little tight by today's standard. Would like a coffee brewer in room.

it was super cute and affordable. staff were all very pleasant.

not anything about the property necessarily, but there were two different groups that left early in the morning and they were super loud… one group yelling and disrespectful. I’m not sure if it was the area, or just bad luck that we encountered that. we didn’t know anything about the area at all: the area felt safe so perhaps it was just a fluke, but perhaps a testament to how much you can hear from the outside

When we first walked in the room it smelled like it was JUST cleaned. Which I loved and felt comfort in knowing. We checked the room and found everything perfect. Cute and cozy perfect for girls trip!! Would stay again rather than searching for a hotel. First motel I ever stayed at highly recommend.

We did run out of toilet paper within 1 day. I think someone just forgot to put a spare roll in there not a huge deal. Just had to go to the front desk and get some.

I was very pleased with this choice. As things turned out, my stay was extended. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating.

They are pet friendly, however there is a charge. For my cat I paid an additional $20.00 for the first night and $10.00 for every other night. With my stay ending up being three weeks, I felt this was excessive. Also, if you like a firm pillow, bring your own

I really liked that the staff was really nice. The guy that works the front desk on Wednesday nights was the sweetest. I didn't get his name but my daughter really ended up liking him and wants to go back because of him. The location was also a plus.

The only thing I didn't really like was they did not have shampoo or conditioner like every other place I stayed. Also the room was a little on the small side.

Great, well-managed, budget inn. Clean rooms were recently remodeled and had everything we needed including a grab bar and non-slip surface in bathroom tub/shower. Coffee was available in the office early and shampoo and conditioner were given for the asking. We really enjoyed our stay here.

No breakfast offered, but we knew this so stocked our large refrigerator from Giant Eagle.
