Holiday Inn Express Pittsburgh - Munhall, an IHG Hotel

It was wonderful. For breakfast, there were hot items and fruit and a few take away items so you could have something on the go which was so nice. It wasn't noisy at the hotel and everything was very clean. There were hand sanitizers all over so you could always feel clean no matter what you touched. I was very happy with my stay and the folks there were really nice and I would stay there again anytime. If the other hotels I have stayed at could take lessons from this place, the world would be a happier place.

I don't have anything that I could find to improve on. I enjoyed the whole stay.

Our room was quite large. The hotel was convenient for us location-wise since it was walking distance to where our family lives. There was a nice variety of items to choose from for breakfast - cereals, pancakes, eggs, etc. Coffee was ok. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

Coffee could be better quality and stronger.

The room was clean and nice looking.

The main thing I didn't like was the price. $239.00 for one night's stay in the Pittsburgh area when nothing special is going on is over $100.00 too high. Also there were some minor issues like the first room we were given a/c unit didn't work (they gave us a second room) and in the second room the window curtains were cracking and need to be replaced.

The staff was extremely friendly. The receptionist was kind and calm when handlings difficult customer. Staff gets 10+ stars. Great location for why we were in the area. I travel a lot and the breakfast was AMAZING!!!

All hotels are overpriced for the short time you spend there. Higher rates on the weekend are a ripoff.

I picked this hotel for three main reasons... the proximity to Kennywood Amusement park, the number of places to get dinner within 10 minutes from the hotel, and the great price. This place was perfect after a day at the park! As a bonus, the staff was SUPER friendly and the bed was nice and soft!

Great location. They are doing renovations, no big deal, but I felt because of that they could have charged less. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly.

The breakfast was a good start to the day and convenient. Smart covid precautions. loved that the location was basically embedded next to a strip mall with a Target, a Giant Eagle, and a convenience store but tucked off in a quiet corner. lots of great dining in the mall area and close to a lot of great spots in the 'burgh

Closer or more powerful Electric Vehicle charger, even on premise. A microwave would have been handy

Everything. The bed was comfortable, the shower great. Plenty of hot water. It was very clean. The breakfast was nice considering Covid.

Nothing. Our stay was great. The only thing and this is only going to affect very few, I couldnt get the AC to go below 66 degrees. It was 97 degrees that day and I like it colder than most in my room. I would definitely stay there again.

I do feel like the price is a bit high-there’s not much given to make the cost worth it, but I’ll pay anything if I have a clean bed which this hotel did so

I stayed overnight after attending a Pirates game. I arrived late but the desk staff was friendly and efficient and I was quickly in my room. It was clean and comfortable and nice and quiet. It was easy to get back on my way the next day (driving between Kansas City and Pittsburgh).
