Best Western Plus Clearfield

I did not like the fact that when i needed to make change to my reservations I had to contacted booking.com and was not provided with an 800 number to call and I was charged an international phone charge.by my phone service. The first time I called the changes were made to my reservation but my rooms were changed from non smoking to smoking. By the time I noticed the change the hotel no longer had non smoking rooms left but the hotel was able to change the our rooms for us.

Room was spacious, bathroom was clean. Good facilities for a small town hotel. Breakfast was good.

Please consider real plates and cutlery - need to change the 'throw away' mindset and start thinking 'reuse and recycle. Yes, it will cost more in wages, but will save in garbage disposal and landfill charges. There is no planet B.

the Hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good in variety and taste. very quite even though the hotel was booked thought we were the only ones there.

Out mattress was to firm for us but that is hard to please everyone Elevator was down all weekend. my husband is recovering from knee surgery so it was a challenge walking up and down 3 flights of stairs.

Breakfast was the typical hotel style and quality, good but not special. Also plenty of choices of foods for breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice little refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Toilet and shower were clean and well stocked. Small pool and nice hot tub were a plus.

The breakfast room was very cozy and the selection very good. Especially the pancake-making machine delighted my kids.

That's hard to say because of it's location it's more of a stopover location for business travellers or workers working on site. Therefore, it's hardly a tourist destination, but for what it is it is very nice with a small gym, pool, etc.

I liked that the staff was willing to correct issues. Upon arrival I checked in and was given a key to an already occupied room. Went back downstairs and the front desk staff checked to see that the room was full and then checked another room to be sure it was empty. The hotel accommodated my stay by adjusting the price to a cheaper rate for the mix up.

The elevators were down that Sunday. I had my elderly grandmother with me and we were placed on the 3rd floor for our stay. When checking out she had to walk down 3 flights of steps.

1. We really were disappointed & missed the sit down breakfast. Although we understand that BW where we stayed had renovations taking place & served guest a Continental breakfast vs the sit down bacon & egg breakfast. It’s not the same. we really missed that. Hopefully our next visit the complete eggs & bacon sit down breakfast will have returned.

Staff was very friendly, the whole place was very clean. It was right next to the highway and close to gas stations and restaraunts.

The breakfast was absolutely terrible.

The Location was great for our visit. Easy access to anything you might need. Example. Gas, food, Walmart, any last minute items you may need or forgot for your trip. It’s all within a short distance.

Property was fine. However. The breakfast could be much better. The coffee is great! Food items not so great.

The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Front desk clerk was friendly & efficient in getting us into our room.

I was not impressed with the noise between the floors. If there is a next time, I will request a 3 rd floor room so I don't have to listen to the people above walking around.
