Super 8 by Wyndham Clearfield

This hotel is right off the highway, close to gas stations and restaurants. There's disabled parking by the front door, and the accessible suite was the first down the hall to the left. Good size room, everything set up for easy accessibility (though the clothes hanger set up was a bit awkward to reach in the tight corner between the fridge and window.) Individual climate control and even the thermostat was located for ease of access by a guest using a wheelchair. Wifi worked well, good comfortable bed. Walk in shower with seat. Friendly, helpful staff. ATM in the lobby. Excellent restaurant right across the road.

We recently stayed at a more expensive hotel in the Comfort Hotels chain and it was horrible- dirty, broken air conditioner, broken door knob, tv didn’t always work, toiletries were lacking, no breakfast that they advertised they had, etc. Your Super8 hotel completely renewed our faith on hotels!! We were beyond pleased with rooms and staff and amenities and breakfast and comfort and cleanliness, ETC!!!!!

One room of our two, number 144, had a missing piece on bolt lock. But other door lock worked fine. Noise from nearby interstate but running vent fan helped drown out noise. Would have been nice to have connecting rooms but not vital.

Super 8 stays winning. The front desk was very nice. This location was perfectly clean, and cute. Right off the interstate. The property was very big. Right next to McDonald’s, yum & convenient. All around amazing.

It was perfect for a nights stay while driving/traveling. It’s not… an exhilarating experience… but I wasn’t planning anything special. And, it’s even better than a lot of other motels.

Everything! Super clean. Close to lots of food options. We were only stopping in for some sleep before hitting the road at 630 am but the staff was wonderful. The value was great! No bugs. Not dirtiness. Counter staff was great. She was so lovely. Asked about where I am from. Told me she was visiting the area with family and such. Beds were comfy. I slept great! It was nice having the windows open and hearing the frogs singing their spring time songs. Right off the highway so didnt have to go too far off if our route.

Facilities all very clean, staff friendly + ultra helpful and accommodating. Very pleasant quiet super clean room with nice toiletries. Simple but fresh breakfast: hot coffee tea cocoa + creamers, fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cereals, instant oatmeal (flavors) and sweet buns. Laundry-game room available. Great location right off I-80, next to McDonald's + nearby Dutch Pantry & Burger King restaurants, several gas stations, Wal-Mart & Lowe's stores. Also in emergency an excellent AAA certified mechanic garage 8 minutes away.

Nothing I didn't like about hotel. Perhaps the parking lot could have been better cleared of snow & underlying crusty ice but walkways were perfectly clear no trace of snow or ice.

Clean room!

Smelled very strongly of cleaning solution. Walking down the hallways, it smelled like a combination of cleaning solution and smoke from the smoking rooms. The cleaning solution smell was just overpowering, enough to make you nauseous. The air conditioning was extremely, extremely loud. So much so that it kept me up at night, but because it was so hot out, I had to keep it running. Staff waa excellent and very friendly!

The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was a very nice breakfast. It met the needs of a morning snack before departure. The coffee was on the weak side, but I like a robust cup.

I paid for early check in when I arrived about two hours early. Since I had actually booked a reservation, it would have been nice not to pay for that. However, the staff was really nice and accommodating so I blame the “policy”…

The cleanness of the room.

When we arrived it was exceptionally hard for us to get from the handicap parking place to the office because the walks and parking lot was never cleaned off from the storm a few days before. All the parking lots in the area were cleared of there ice. If we return next year we will not risk our body of getting hurt from falling because of lack of concern for your patrons. Have stayed at other Super 8 and never an issue.

Clean and the room smells really good for a budget motel. Staff were very helpful! This is where my 10/10 review is mostly about. I can't comment on the free breakfast because we left really early.

It's not real for me , but for other travelers with limited mobility, there's no elevators.

The breakfast was good with many options. The location was awesome - right off the highway - but it wasn't noisy! The staff were wonderful.

We didn't realize, until we had already checked in, that there was no elevator, and we were on the second floor, with lots to carry up. We should have asked - but be aware, if you need something on the first floor, you need to specify.
