Red Roof Inn Clearfield

Was there for the 100 mile Yard Sale and the location was perfect. Everything we needed was nearby. Gas, coffee, Dutch Pantry Restaurant (highly recommend) ,even a Walmart. The room was clean, smelled nice ,and the front desk staff was friendly even though you could tell she was a little overwhelmed. Could use a little updating. But overall a good experience and the price was right.

Thin bedspread and towels. Water pressure in shower not that great.

Convient for our trip. Staff was nice and pleasant.

Sheets on one bed looked like had make up stain on. Toilet when we first got to room had to flush 3-4 times to clear the bowl. Filled to the top like gonna overflow but didn't. TV was an issue. Got it on after some issues, went to change volume said remote not programmed for that TV. Made a challenge as traveling with 5 and 6 year old who wanted to watch TV before bed. But we overcame challenge.

updated rooms. cleanliness. reasonable price. did not eat continual breakfast so don’t know how that was. also didn’t eat at attached restaurant, but liked that they offered a discount there.

outdoor staircase-thankfully it wasn’t raining. noisy due to backing up to highway. could be improved by updating heater/ac units to have a constant fan setting would help drown out the Jake brakes & traffic sounds from the highway.

Location is very convenient. Retail stores, restaurants and gas all close by.

To be fair, it looked as though they have been remodeling, and have made some nice upgrades. The only real complaints I had, were, the shower curtain looked as though it had moldy places on it.

Great size and very clean! Staff was so friendly and very helpful! Have to walk outside to get to your room but in the summer it is nice. Paved paths to get to your room, ice machine and vending machine in main building with lobby. No fridge in your room but not a big deal at least for our stay. Very nice!

Not the best lighting but I could get over it. Lamps on either side of the bed but no overhead light

The convenience near the freeway and other shopping facilities.

We did discover due to the moisture in the area that the surroundings were Attracting ants, we did find ants in the bed and noted this to the staff which they stated was a problem in the entire area is complicated by weather and climate.

This place is excellent value for money. Large and clean room with good beds and a decent breakfast buffet included in the price. There is an adjacent restaurant for dinner as well which is quite ok. The staff at reception was very nice and helpful. Hotel is located next to the motorway which makes it a very good place for a stopover.

The bed was very big & comfortable & they allowed us to bring our doggie !

I didn’t like that there was no fridge or microwave. Was expecting to have one & was disappointed when we got there & didn’t have one.

Rob took excellent care of our reservation making sure that we had an easily accessible room with needed microwave and refrigerator.

Could use some refurbing and paint.

The most important thing to me is cleanliness & the room was very clean & because they are pet friendly they had wood floors was a very smart thing to do!

You could hear the noise people next door but it won’t keep me from staying there again
