Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Erie

This is our third time staying here. It's very convenient to everything that we like. We like that we can walk across the street to the restaurant bar and the marina. We like the fact that it's dog friendly if we choose to take our pets like the fact that has a swimming pool and it jacuzzi inside. But the jacuzzi still isn't working and it's been a year ago so that was very disappointing as well as the swimming pool that someone had did stuff in and it was shut down and only opened up 2 days of our stay but they did gave us a discount. The breakfast that is complementary is very nice as well but they ran out of supplies and food. They did not prepare well.

I was there for a marathon. I called several weeks ago to request a late check out so I could shower afterwards. When we double checked the late check out we were told there was a note in the system but we were not granted the late check out because they were randomly given out already. This was very upsetting and would be enough of a reason for me to not book here again. Trice was the one helping us out and she called her manager and got approval for me to have a late check out which was much appreciated. The shower after my race before my 3 hour drive home was amazing. We would come back and stay here because of Trice. We have a large running community in toledo, Ohio and I would recommend this hotel for anyone running the Erie marathon!

The music from the bar across the road was super loud and I couldn't get to sleep. I had to be up at 4:20am to run a marathon so u only got about 4 hours or sleep. Knowing this, I would request to stay on the backside of the hotel if I ever run this again!

Location is perfect for downtown Erie.

We were staying there bc we had just gotten married downtown Erie. We arrived around midnight to check in. We were exhausted and over slept the next morning. So we were running late with check out. A woman came pounding on our door and screaming through the door that we needed to check out. She said check out was at 11 and the maid needs to come in and clean and I’m going to have to charge you a late fee. I was getting dressed so I couldn’t open the door I said we would be out in a few minutes and that we over slept. When we arrived at the front desk she was upset with us and didn’t even talk to us just slammed the receipt on the front counter. Her name was on the receipt it said M. Gray2. I thought she was very rude and unprofessional.

Check in went smooth. The ADA family room we booked worked well for our situation. It was appreciated that there was no problem since we travel with an adjustable bed and lift for our daughter - very accommodating. Toilet handle broke due to wear, quickly given discount and was fixed. Shout-out to Jody and Linda, very helpful employees. Didn't catch all the employee names but they all worked hard and quick when the fire alarm and power went out - very informative~

Worked in an office many years and noticed - always seemed to be a single person on-duty, hustling and giving 100% - when there are two staff there - not really wanting to even move...just saying.

The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The television was large and had a lot of channels. The room was equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, coffee and tea. There is a small lobby with a coffee and tea station, including hot chocolate mix, flavored syrups and honey. Breakfast had a lot of choices but not of great quality. The 4th of July fireworks could be seen from my window!

There was a carpet on the tile floor inside the door of the hotel which was very slippery. I saw two people slide on it, myself included. I wasn't aware that towels and coffee wouldn't be replaced daily.

Very friendly staff. We had a small issue on our floor, and the staff took care of it through the night, and in the morning, the manager actually finished taking care of the situation. Made us feel every comfortable that you don't let these things go on in your hotel. You're very mindful of your guests. We brought our 2 dobermans with us on our trip too, and everyone was extremely nice. They actually loved all the attention from all of you as well. It was a great stay and we hope to come back again soon...

There was honestly nothing we disliked. Like written below there was a small issue in the evening but it was tended to immediately.

breakfast was very nice, the room was very clean and well appointed, and the staff were very friendly and helpful

I could hear the water flushing from other rooms and children running on the floor above me. It would be nice to have the ability to check in via an app instead of waiting in line when staff are on the phone or helping other customers. Also, the lids and sleeves didn't fit the coffee cups, but all of these things did not detract from our overall stay - just mentioning them to be helpful.

The staff was great, Breeanna in particular was wonderful. The view out our window of lake Erie was very nice. We loved the location. Our room was adequate for just and overnight stay. Overall a good experience.

Pool and hot tub was broken, so unavailable. Breakfast was horrible. The eggs where cold and like rubber and the sausage/pancake on a stick was dried out and tasted awful. Decided on waffles. At least they had options. Prepackaged muffins where also not good. Water from facet in room tasted funny so couldn't use to drink.

The room was very comfortable, the bedroom was private from the kids on the sofa bed. The little kitchen was nice for heating up snacks and keeping drinks cold.

Daily towel pick up. Don’t need a complete room clean, however they allow 3 towels and 3 washcloths for a family of 4, and never cleaned up our room. No fresh roll of toilet paper, paper towels or clean towels and washcloths. Also the kitchen had dishes and dish soap but no kitchen towels

We liked everything. From the 24 hour coffee to the location; for our Rt 90 travel, it was excellent. Dinner options were close by. Breakfast was okay, the regular fare, with one notable exception- the hash they served with the powdered (?) eggs, it was a unique offering and really good! The room was perfectly clean, the beds are very comfortable They have the now requisite mini fridge, microwave and coffee service. But best of all the hotel is PET FRIENDLY! We really appreciate that! thank you!
