Staff friendly, hotel and room clean. Location not far from town with many stores and restaurants nearby.

In hotel restaurant was fair on value and lacking on service due to being short staffed as most places are today. Party of 3 easy $100 for sandwich, burger and fish with side salads. Nothing exceptional. Dinner later in evening was tremendously slow. Had about 5 tables occupied and seemed the waiter was also the cook as he spent a lot of time in the back of the house. Took nearly 40 minutes for food, had to go to bar to get mustard and only received 1 drink refill. Breakfast the next day was much better as the food was delivered fast, hot, well presented and server very attentive. Will be staying again in a few weeks and may eat breakfast there again, but not so sure about dinner. May have to try something else local.

Hotel is a bit dated, however the room was clean and smelled so fresh upon entering. Even the grounds and the pool area were clean. Also, it's conveniently located to the city and tourist attractions, we were about 15/20mins drive away from most places, with a Starbucks and Wholefood just down the block. Cleanliness and Location were the best features of staying here.

Breakfast wasn't included which considering, we spent more than $300 for two nights, is a bit pricy. Even the prices on the in-room menu were astounding, $4 for a cup of tea. Also, our room was prepaid/booked for three ladies, and we had a difficult time getting more than the one small bottle of shampoo and conditioner left in our room.

The hotel is dated. However, it was clean and nicely decorated. The rooms are spacious. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room. There was a standing shower next to the bathtub. The bed was very comfortable. I had breakfast one morning.( not the buffet), it was average. I had a shrimp dinner that was very good. The swimming pool area was nice. The gym has a variety of hand weights, a bench, a treadmill, a stationary bike and a pelonton. I was in Charleston for two days and did not rent a car. There is a bus stop across the street that will take you to the historic district for $2. It runs throughout the day. You will get off in front of the hotel for the return trip. The ride is about 20 minutes. The staff was very polite and helpful.

There was nothing that I didn't like about the hotel or the service.

Liked cleanliness and comfort of room. Good, comfortable, upholstered chairs with ottoman for reading or watching TV. Well designed bath with choice of tub or walk-in shower. Comfortable bed. Carpets looked clean and not too worn. The restaurant was excellent. I had two meals there.

TV picture was not sharp and the set was affixed flat against the wall facing the bed. This would have been fine if I liked watching TV while in bed, but I don't. From the upholstered chairs, I had to watch TV from a severe, almost sideways angle, which was irritating, Note that TV could not "swivel." In the cocktail lounge, TV was not functioning properly; it was getting only third-rate channels that no one wants to watch in a bar (e.g., Antique Roadshow). Bartender was kind enough to let me try the remote but I had no luck finding a sports channel of any kind.

The room was very nice and CLEAN. Cleanliness is my #1 priority in a hotel. This one didn't disappoint. It even smelled clean. Also liked that there was a fridge and microwave in the room. We had leftovers from our dinner the night before and was able to warm them up and enjoy the next day.

The front desk check in staff could have been friendlier. We arrived around 3:30 and there was several guests waiting to be checked in. The check in process went smoothly and quickly for everyone. But they didn't greet anyone or crack a smile the entire time. Perhaps they felt overwhelmed. And later during my stay I encountered a manager in the hallway and she didn't even acknowledge me. However all the cleaning staff were very friendly and always greeted us when we saw them in the hallway.

1st and foremost, Amanda at the front desk was absolutely amazing! She was accommodating, beyond helpful, and so nice. She was always great at breaking down prices and making sure I understand what was going on my card and what was going to drop off once I checked out. The bed was very comfortable.

I really do not have anything to complain about. The only thing (which has NOTHING to do with the property itself) are the vending machines for drinks. IT ONLY takes credit or debit and there isn’t a snack machine but again, that’s at no fault of the property.

What an absolutely wonderful experience. We usually do major chain hotels but decides to take a chance on this one and we were very pleased. The pictures and description online were spot on accurate. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean including the vents and door hinges (yes we check everything).definitely a suite to compare to other chains and condos. The King size bed was super comfy and opened to a nice size living area with recliners and desk. The large bathroom had everything we needed down to individual Clinton balls and Qtips.. our suite included a jetted tub which we put to use daily and a large walk in shower. Not to overlook the double walk in closet with auto light and in unit safe. The room also included small kitchen area with fridge, Microwave, sink and Keurig. It was as perfect as perfect can get.

There are Limited ride shares in the area. The hotel restaurant only offered Breakfast buffet on weekends. Everything else was perfect.

I absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely book again.

I liked the location and the cleanliness.

I didn't like the fact that we arrived on a Saturday and the pool was closed due to having chemicals just put in. I specifically booked this hotel for the sole reason of being able to relax by the pool on Saturday while waiting on our chartered trip on Sunday. I also asked the young lady at the lobby desk to please have the manager call me. I've yet to hear back from anyone.

All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, true ambassadors of Southern hospitality. Our room was beautiful with all the amenities to make us feel at home. The cleaner left a folded towel on our bed in the shape of a swan! My partner is disabled with leg braces, so we really appreciated the accessibility of your entire facility. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at Trotter's, the service was excellent and the fried chicken was amazing! Getting to the airport was a breeze.

We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy Charleston.
