Hotel Indigo El Paso Downtown, an IHG Hotel

It was my husband’s 21st birthday and I asked for a city view if possible and they made sure I had a city view on the 12th (main top) floor. The room was so clean and cozy, the roof top pool was beautiful, the staff were so amazing. And there was no worry about needing to find a parking spot and walk, or pay for parking… you just pull up and they take the car to park for you. The best thing, and most important for most everyone looking for a hotel is the bed and the breakfast. The bed was my most favorite… most comfortable thing I’ve laid on. And the breakfast was phenomenal, they have a restaurant on ground floor that you get an $18 card per person to go eat.

The only thing I have to say I wasn’t a fan of at this hotel was in the rooms there is no microwave or refrigerator. You do have a coffee area but nowhere to store cold drinks.

Facilities, decor, location, bar, terrace, parking, drinks...wonderfull. Loved my room, decor so representative of the El Paso -Juarez region. The Terrace area.. wonderful, the pool looked awesome. The hotel has alot of decor details I really loved. We went bar hopping downtown..everything was walkable distance. Breakfast at Mamacitas restaurant in ground floor. Very good.

I was next door to a group of male friends.. they parties and the noise came thru my rooms.. made it hard to sleep. To noisy

Great bar, stellar pool, incredible views....excellent staff! I'll be back, this hotel made a work day Monday feel like a vacation week Friday. Way to go Indigo El Paso, you guys are the best. If you find yourself in West Texas, spend a night here, you wont regret it!

I cant think of anything I didnt like. This boutique hotel has all of their bases covered and the staff brings their A game every day. Maybe the one thing I didnt like was leaving! Thanks again, the stay gets top marks!

The room was actually really nice. I was on the 10th floor and I had no disturbances. The pool and the bar are nice, but the music is way too loud.

One of the elevator was out of service during the whole stay (2,5 weeks)... Same for 2 gym equipment (the gym is already quite small)

I’ve enjoyed the artistic feel of the hotel. Very unique and cozy at the same time. Such a beautiful experience with great esthetic.

One thing I did t like is that they closed off the pool after 7 pm. The area had a wonderful view with a place to relax. It would have been nice to enjoy it after hours.

It is downtown and has a nice heated pool on the 5th floor. If you need to be downtown, this is the place. The rooms are upgraded, but no frig or microwave.

Requires valet parking (only $15) which can be inconvenient when want to leave to eat because being downtown there are few options. We tried to eat breakfast at restaurant in hotel but after standing for some time waiting to be seated, decided to get the car and leave.

Wait staff at the pool and Circa bar were SO nice. Made our stay worth it!

Floors in my room were filthy. Pool area was not cleaned overnight and water was cloudy. However, the pool is nice. Brunch waiters at Mamacitas were rude about my prepayment for breakfast. Ignored me most of the time.

My room was perfectly sized, bright, and airy. The pool area is awesome and seems to alternate between really hopping with people or completely empty. Both were great! The hotel is pretty trendy, playing up the 1960s mid-century modern vibe, but it's still El Paso and thus not snobby at all. Staff members are chill and friendly. The gay block of bars is two minutes away, and it was an easy walk to the Magoffin House, El Paso Street, a microbrewery, the field where the Chihuahuas play (Fear the Ears!) and great downtown bars and restaurants (The Tap!). I walked to UTEP, too.

Everything was great, really, although it was a little crazy when I arrived on Mother's Day afternoon. I did manage to snag a seat for lunch and did take-out for dinner. Restaurants in the area --not just at the.hotel-- were either closed or packed to the gills. I don't if that's a Sunday thing or a holiday thing. (Mother's Day is b-i-g down there.)

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is amazing. The bed is super comfortable. The pool area is a beautifully designed oasis and the mornings are vey calm there. The restaurant on the ground floor has great food and a lovely staff, it is extra exciting or vegetarians/vegans like myself because they have many options for us. I would stay here again and again without hesitation.

There is not a fridge or microwave in the room, which would have been nice for a longer stay. There were events on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon/evenings in the bar by the pool. So here were A LOT of people and noise. So the weekends are not very relaxing... except in the mornings. Mornings by the pool were serene. If you don't want the loud music to bother your sleep on weekends just ask for a room facing the other direction... my room was perfectly quiet even with all the commotion downstairs.

The rooms were clean and spacious and well-appointed. All the staff I encountered were super nice and friendly, from the valet guys to the front desk staff to housekeeping. Room toiletries were Aveda.

The $75 pet fee is a little steep and more than most “pet friendly” hotels charge. Parking is only $15 per day but it is valet parking so with tips and all, it’s realistically more like $20 to $25 per day. The 5th floor rooftop restaurant was understaffed but that is the case with many restaurants these days.
