Hyatt Place Houston/Katy

I love the fact that every morning they had good hot breakfast. I also love that the staff is so respectful and positive. & this hotel is so clean! Smells good and everything and I love that they keep the breakfast room clean at all time no matter how many people are in there. I really rate this hotel a 10/10 I think it’s the best I’ve been to! There isn’t anything I didn’t like, only thing that just made me upset is because I knew that it was a pet friendly hotel but they told me that I had to pay a $70 pet fee at the last minute and I was thinking what if I didn’t have the money they should’ve told me ahead of time

Rooms were very nice and very clean. Staff was very friendly and they had a very nice breakfast. Although the prices were a bit high and the pet fee is more than triple the hotel I manage, I’ll still stay here again when I’m in town.

The only thing I didn’t like about our stay was the fact that there aren’t any cameras on the left side of the hotel. Our truck was broken into, along with several other vehicles. Someone busted out one of the back windows and ransacked the entire truck stealing some money and slimjims. I would recommend parking in the front or on the street side of the hotel so hopefully this doesn’t happen to you. On top of an almost $800 stay we also had to pay $300 for someone to come out and replace the broken window. I’ll still stay here again when I’m in town.

clean environment..friendly staff

the deposit policy , adding a fee for every night of stay.. As a business travelers I stayed a many upper class properties that required a credit card for incidentals, but not adding an immediate charge for room and deposits.. very trivial, but matters

Gloria, at the front desk, was a delight! Smiling, courteous, professional, really lovely. Location was also great; few places to eat nearby. Also love that there were laundry rooms available.

I was charged $10 per hour for checking in early. $50 which was non-negotiable, when I could have easily checked in an hour or two earlier for free. Why not charge me for just half, with that logic?! Also, the lady at the front desk the first day assured me there'd be water in the room, but there were none. In the office area the next day, Google browser was not available on the machines, so I could not access a document I needed to print. Thank God for Gloria who helped me out! Google should be installed next to IE, and/or provide instructions to connect to the printer (the printer name at the very least).

The hotel was great. Just what I needed for this trip. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Stacey even helped me out with a charger for the night, so I wouldn't ha e to leave so late. Overall it worked out perfectly. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good too.

Drove from Dallas to Houston for a family member's graduation and had a lovely stay at this hotel. The management was friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. The location was within 10 minutes of our relatives which was great. Also, the room was clean and cozy. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff was awesome! The bed was comfortable, and the facility was extra clean. Our stay was perfect!

The menu offerings were extremely limited, and the front desk agent (who was very friendly) was also the bartender and the cook. This led to long lines for check-in and/or service.

The staff was friendly though on at least two occasions there was no one at the front desk and it took a bit for someone to show up

The breakfast was a bit of a letdown as I try to stay in Hyatts when I can and the breakfasts are normally exceptional. The breakfast here lacked variety and was not the quality I have become used to in Hyatt stays.

I appreciated the wide variety of items made available for breakfast. I loved how clean and fresh smelling the room and the bathroom were. The people at the desk were always polite and friendly.

I didn't care for the "down-filled" pillows. The "down" compacted during the night and became hard. I woke up several times because of that and actually developed a headache from the hardness of the pillows.

The hotel is immaculate, the staff incredible and the food delicious. This is by far my favourite hotel and the best value for money I can imagine.
