Magnuson Grand Hotel and Conference Center Tyler

It was clean and quiet. Met my needs and perfect price. Rented 2 room wished I got a discount but no biggie. Seen a couple shopping carts 🙄but that’s should be taken back to store from the guest that used it.I used it later to push my niece in for a ride…it was hilarious considering she’s 40 years old lol. But other than that it was clean in and out.

The property was easy to find. Staff was very friendly (even though he had several people in the lobby). The room was clean, and welcoming! The pool area is very nice as well.

The property has an old car with the windows busted out parked in the area of our room. The room reeked of weed. The Cable TV isn’t clear at all and kept going in and out. The property has the potential to be extremely nice, but it seems no one cares enough to make it that way.

The housekeeping can't speak any English but otherwise I was alright with everything.. I feel that they should clean all the rooms up everyday part of keeping gems down if they don't have enough help hire more help otherwise it was a pretty good place to stay.

I was given the quiet area I requested. The renovations are allowing for a better cosmetic look.

Lacking in “customary” items, plastic cups, box of tissues,hair dryer, iron, coffee pot. The renovations should not be just cosmetic but more effective. The tub leaked water all on the bathroom floor.

No breakfast available since COVID-19 killed all of that everywhere. Staff were courteous and polite. Great value for family of four. Great location in Tyler. Close by to everything useful and fun.

Breakfast is always good to have. Better coffee maker would have been nice with more selection. The linens had an odor but it was nothing unbearable. An ice machine would have been great too.

The location was great. Nearby everything my group wanted to do. Friendly staff. Check-in and check-out were seamless. The room was exactly as advertised. If I were to return to Tyler I would stay here again! Great value for what you get!

Hard to get a hold of a staff member before my check-in date to see if I could get into the room an hour early for a wedding I was attending. Slight construction noise was happening outside our room. The bed blanket in the room had a slight smell to it, but not that big of a deal. I still had a great stay.

I mean it's a nice hotel. Not bad prices, they have a nice size pool. Rooms were nice and big, location is the best. Food all around you. It was perfect for Me. I'm giving them a four star. Five star if they had breakfast. But they do not.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the prices are fair and the rooms are clean. The cable, WiFi, and ac work great They are doing a lot of remodeling and hopefully the rooms won't look as dated soon.

The towels are a little on the thin side. Depending on your room, there might be some chipped paint, but it looks like the owner is working on that

They didn't bring you clean towels and sheets but once a week and the pool wasn't open
