Best Western Timpanogos Inn

While it was very close to the Interstate highway, we heard no traffic sounds once we were inside. Parking was simple and convenient, and there were plenty of both fast food and dining-in choices within a mile of the hotel. Also nearby were full-service grocery stores, movies, bowling... plenty of things to do. Also within a 10 minute drive was Thanksgiving Point with its museums and exhibits.

We missed having a microwave oven in the room.

Great location, pretty facility, great amount of parking, big pool, good breakfast. Grocery store, fast food, and gas stations very close by.

Elevator needs some attention. Almost closed on us twice before we even got in/out. Not because we took too long, but the door had issues and would close too soon or the elevator would go up slightly before the door would completely shut. Thumps a bit. Our bathroom door was terrible. (Room 230). Loud squeak as it shut because the door rubs against the jam wrong or something. Annoying noise. Especially when everyone else is asleep.

Breakfast was very good. I was pleasantly surprised that it had hot potatoes, eggs, bacon or sausage depending on the morning as well as cereal, waffles, fruit, sweet rolls and beverages.

When we extended our stay for a day, the gentleman at the front desk could not or would not do the booking. He directed us to use booking.com because that is how we made the first reservation. The next morning a new guy at the front desk had to cancel the new booking and just extend us for a night. My wife was very frustrated trying to get on line access to book the extra night--she wasted 30-minutes trying to book an additional night and that effort caused the new attendant at the front desk extra work as he had to cancel the new booking to prevent a double charge. If he had been available the night before, my wife could have extended our stay with just a call to the front desk.

So clean!! The fragrance was warm and welcoming as you walk through the front doors. The floors were shining and attention was given to the smallest details. No dust anywhere and clean to the touch. This kind of professionalism has been well noted and assures we will be back.

The bathroom was a little small.

We enjoyed the breakfast. The food was good and they had a good selection to choose from. We also enjoyed the pool. A very nice place for families.

Cleaning and replacing the air conditioning seemed to be going on during our stay. Understandable, it didn't really affect our stay.

Convenient location, clean and quiet place. Breakfast for hubby was good and for the cold night I could make hot chocolate at the breakfast area where they had hot water for tea and such beverages.

We stayed two nights and for our surprise they took our towels even soap got replaced! Environmentally this is unnecessary, we could of used our towels and soap for another day before our departure.

After having read previous reviews I was worried about my stay at this hotel but my worries were overturned very quickly: everything clean, friendly, decent breakfast, generous with new towels every day and good housekeeping- receptionist was nice, no complaints.

No real complaints. Just an idea: more variety for breakfast

The Breakfast was great. One of the best that I've ever had. There were a lot of options, it was well presented, fresh, and kept clean. The room was very clean, comfortable, and everything was in good condition.

I don't have any suggestions.

The convenience of access to the hotel from the interstate was a consideration, the grounds were tidy and well maintained.

My hesitation in reading the stay higher was because of the pet fee. $20 a day seems quite high for a pet, especially when it is multiple days of stays and the room to be cleaned only upon departure. The pet area did not supply pet bags for removal of dog poop, however I always have my own with me so that was okay. I might note here that the trash bin to put the used bags in was not emptied during my stay there.... It does make me wonder what the additional $20 fee per day went toward. However, when I travel I do look for pet friendly hotels.

Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was spacious with a well appointed tub. Hot tub was warm and deep.

Pool hours could be longer. By the time our activities were done, there was barely any time left before the pool closed. The room could use a little more counter/shelf space.
