loved how the interior was decorated and the staff were amazing!

The location, the rooms were very nice, the roof top pool.

The lady that was working the bar told my 8 year old brother that he was not allowed at the bar area(roof top) without a shirt, and did not tell me directly. He was only coming with due to it only being him and I on this vacation out of state. I refuse him to be alone with strangers. There is no sign stating that anywhere! My brother was scared to even come near me so I can see what he wanted to drink. We left the pool and he had a towel over his arms. But other than that the staff was nice and very helpful!

The reception at check in and throughout our stay. Moniqua was exceptional in her friendliness and willingness to help at check in and later during the night when she needed to help us move to another room.

Location was perfect, convenient valet parking, clean, cohesive collegiate theme throughout, safe, quiet, fun, exceptional staff, and the beds are what dreams are made of. First time I’ve ever effortlessly slept soundly, until the morning wake up call, in an unfamiliar bed. From the moment of arrival we were met with five-star service. Immediately we were greeted with a smile from a valet attendant and our questions were answered without feeling like a nuisance. Front desk staff were remarkable, too. Everything was handled quickly but never made us feel rushed or like “just another guest.” The experience they gave was akin to seeing a friend after a too long separation. Happy to see you, glad you’re spending time with them, really hope you enjoy your stay, and can’t wait for you to visit again. Dinner from the diner was delicious and above average. (Le Cerdo burger, Smash Burger, chicken tenders, and Edward’s Ham and Cheese.) Edward’s is ham, pimento cheese, pickles, and Ritz crackers. I didn’t expect much because it doesn’t sound like much, right? Wrong! Pickle slices and pimento cheese were fresh and seemed homemade, not something plopped out of a container. Crackers were more than plentiful and the ham was -quality- sliced ham, not packaged ham from the store. It was filling and beyond expectations. We have already begun planning our next stay.

There were some minor cosmetic repairs and a vent issue that could use attention in our room. Let me note: it is clean and not run down. I just want to be honest and fair in my review.

the room was large and accommodated our fam of 4 nicely. Beds were comfy a the location was super, with close access to VCU as well as area restaurants. we had breakfast at the hotel and enjoyed the roof deck. we also liked the Pool table, shuffleboard and video games in the lounge!

There wasn't anything to dislike at the Graduate Richmond. Drinks, food, everything was excellent.

LOVED the Staff!! Front desk, Coffee Shop and everyone in between was so friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable

Parking was not the best. I did self park so maybe that was the problem but too many cars for the little space. Elevators kept breaking and getting stuck. So there was only really one working the entire week I was here. Each time it broke the staff was quick to get someone out but that company just couldn’t seem to get it fixed

Location worked great for us.

I had requested a room away from the elevator and it was the first room you get off of the elevator. Too tired from driving 3 hours to go back down and complain or request another room. Heard the loud elevator ringing all night. Service and food at the Byrd house was not good. only 3 options on the menu to choose from, Ceviche was terrible. Could not charge anything to the room, system didn't work.

location to VCU, decor and comfort! We had been upgraded to King Suite which had 2 bathrooms and a sofa sectional! Would be great for large family as well as business traveler for extended stay. Cute Bar/Bistro and easy to grab and go quick coffee and bagel in am. Good coffee and friendly Baristas!

Car was returned from Valet with oil on the entire passenger side. Not sure they noticed and not entirely a problem but could be for another guest. It is in a larger city- a few "uninvited" or "neighbors" as we refer to them. came off the street into the lobby/bar area. Hotel appeared to get the police to escort them out but not until after they had already made their way to the back of the main lobby/restrooms. May need a doorman or security 24/7.

I liked the food that I ordered from the lobby cafe. It was tasty and reasonably priced for both breakfast and dinner. The room was comfy and quiet. The bed was comfortable too. Also, the shower was terrific!

My room was never cleaned during my 3-night stay. Also, there was a lot of complaining and cursing from the staff in the lobby restaurant area. Don't know what the issue was, but it seemed to happen every day I was there. Perhaps they should try to keep all that under wraps while guests are present. It is uncomfortable to listen to.
