Washington Hilton

The pool was nice and had a good view. Great location in the district. Hotel is very big. Lobby is spacious with market and Cafe. Bar was a little small but nice. One girl and I (also female) came back after our night out very late, almost near morning. A creepy guy was talking to us as we approached the hotel lobby entrance and he was giving us the creeps. Security must have noticed and walked with us into the hotel all the way to the elevators which we GREATLY appreciated. Shout out to that guy! Don't let that deter you though this is in a good area and not scary. I think the guy just followed us on our way, yikes.

One of our rooms was clean but my friends found a cowboy hat on the table and a foot file (like you would use to buff your feet) on the lampshade near the bed. So kind of weird lol and clearly missed by housekeeping but the rooms were all clean though. My room bathroom light was VERY dim. Had to go in another room to put on make up but for just one night no biggie.

In town for a family celebration. Selected Hilton for proximity (walking distance) to venue. Following the soiree several others followed us back for food and beverages. Everyone enjoyed the arrangement.

Reservations. Although when the reservation was made, we indicated that early check in would be appreciated, it didn't happen. Guess I don't have enough Hilton points. We were advised that when a room became available, we would receive a text. At 4:10 a return to the lobby, had a line of guests being issued rooms. Still no text. When i made it to the head of the line, a room was made available. Cutting it pretty close for a 5:00pm event 10 minutes away. :(

It was so nice! I took an impromptu trip to DC just for kicks and so happy i was able to stay here! It was walking distance to and from all the places i wanted to see in Dupont which meant i didnt have to drive my car which was great. The staff was bery friendly, the room was clean, it was such a great stay! I highly recommend!

Honestly, everything was cool except the pillows. They were just WAY too soft for me which gave me neck problems. Other than that. It was cool.

The location was excellent and hotel was clean and well appointed. Room was ample size with comfortable bedding and updated features.

Checkin was unpleasant. After waiting, staff at the front desk could not find my reservation and had to get management involved. The process took more than twenty minutes during which time a long line grew. No apology or explanation was offered.

staff was friendly ,received a food/ bar credit from the hotel for my birthday which was unexpected and nice.

our room was located in the same wing a lot of the international dancers were and two of the three nights we were woken up at 11:30 and 3:30 am by a group of them outside our doorway visiting and talking and laughing loudly. The second night I finally got out of bed to ask them to please go visit in their rooms. Maybe they all should have place in the same floor and wing rather than mixed in with the other guest.

The reception staff the evening I checked in were lovely and so helpful.

When I checked out the reception staff were not as friendly. I was late picking up my car, being told I could park till 5 with the money I spent for parking and by the way wasn’t a 24 hour period but charged for 24 hours. They weee going to charge me again. You should have some system to extend for an hour or two beyond 5.

The room was fine...though upon arrival we realized there was no fridge in the room. On the positive side the room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable The phone and the safe didn't work when we checked in but they were repaired within a couple of hours. Service was pretty good at the hotel and every one, on all levels, was polite and very helpful. Having a pool was great and the hotel is walking distance to stores and restaurants in the Kalorama area.

The hotel could use some updating. The overall decor, from the lobby to the rooms, is dated and is looking kinda old - like nothing has been changed for a long time.

Hi team, I want to thank you all your the best service during my stay for the Bar Exam. I got trouble while checking in through booking.com but everyone was so helpful and nice to me. The location was perfect, the room is nice and clean even though it was a busy week. The manager lady and 2 front desk ladies were so helpful to me. Thank you all!

Great location, near to the Metro. A very good base to explore DC. Well equipped, clean comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff

The pool seemed to have a lot of chlorine in it as everyone in our group who swam first thing in the morning had really, really sore eyes

Location was excellent IF you need to be near the embassies. It’s about an hours walk to the monuments. Decent selection of restaurants close by.

Parking was exceptionally expensive but that’s the norm in dc. I would have preferred that to be bundled with the room rate. We found a few leftover items in our room around the bed base from the previous occupants( hair ties and a set of tweezers) that indicated that the room wasn’t really cleaned well.
