Courtyard by Marriott Morgantown

We were traveling from PA to SC and found this place to rest for the night. We had no idea about this state but so glad we found this on Priceline. Absolutely loved the views. Even saw deer from my window. I am big on cleanliness and updated rooms. This is an updated, clean, and comfortable stay. Staff was pleasant. Plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. Reasonable pricing (hope that doesn’t change). Would definitely stay again if I ever travel that way again. It is right next to a West Virginia baseball field. Not sure if that would impact traffic during baseball season.

Nothing major! If you like soft beds then this is perfect. One suggestion would be to turn the mattresses so there is no dip in the bed. Suggest having both soft and firm pillows on the bed so guests can have a choice for comfort.

The location was good. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I do not know what the fragrance was throughout the hotel but everything smelled wonderful.

No microwave in the room. The bed was too firm for my liking. I didn’t like the fact that you didn’t have a coffee bar like most hotels. Sometimes you don’t want to go through the hassle of making coffee in your room.

The staff here are so welcoming, helpful, and kind! The super high ceilings and spaciousness of the lobby make it feel majestic. Prepare to be stunned by the mountain and river view from the back of the hotel; it's a natural wonder. Love the cozy ambiance created by the fire pit.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our shower and it was fixed immediately. The maintenance man was extremely helpful. He noticed our door stuck when it closed and fixed that as well. I have stayed at this location several times and have always been pleased. I will be back.

The breakfast was called "grab and go" which is a collection of packaged cereals, yogurt, muffins, and some fresh fruit like bananas. Coffee was hot and strong, the way we like it. They did have cold milk and canned juices also.

The soap and shampoo in the room was not even enough for one person and we were two. These small sample sizes need to go and you need to stock larger bottles. Otherwise, the bath and room were good. We will stay again but bring our own body wash and shampoo.

Comfortable bed, and nice clean room with beautiful view of the river. Bathroom was clean and large with plenty of extra towels and nice large walk-in shower with good quality shampoo/conditioner/bodywash attached to the wall. Staff was courteous, friendly and check-in was easy. To-go breakfast was delicious and Starbucks coffee topped off a nice assortment!

We arrived a little later than expected and were welcomed by the receptionist, Hillary, who was extremely pleasant and helpful. She explained all about the facilities that were available, even to the point that she would be lighting the outside firepit at dusk, should we wish to sit outside! A very personable individual.

The hotel was very helpful and informative. The location was perfect for where I was headed. My likely hood of rebooking is excellent.

The bed was a little uncomfortable for the price of the room. The mountainview was not a mountainview, but a school on a hill. My second room had a view of the hotel sign.

the room was spacious and very clean, the breakfast was nice and plentiful, especially in light of covid. The back patio is gorgeous.

There should be zip covers on the mattresses and my sheets didn't have much elastic left so they didn't stay on the mattress well. Price was jacked up for the WVU football game.

Not very good. We travel quite a bit and breakfasts are better even at less expensive hotels. Coffee was excellent. No hot foods. Green bananas. Mostly sweets available

Breakfast was the only negative. The rooms were clean , comfortable and very nice.
