Quality Inn Morgantown

I arrived a bit later than I wanted to but the staff was so friendly and professional to get me checked in so quick.

The room had a faint smell, it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. Just like a room that hasn’t been used in a while you know? Everything looked clean but just the first impression was that. Also I told the FD person on my way out that the shower pressure was very weak, and the temperature was inconsistent which made my morning shower quite difficult and uncomfortable. I hope they get that fixed soon.

This was a decent hotel for the price. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean. The hotel has been recently updated and it looks very nice. The pool was clean and inviting, unfortunately, it started to storm and I was not able to enjoy it. The staff was nice. I work in and out of this area and I will be back.

The coffee bar is less than desirable. There was only one carafe and you had to repeatedly pump it to get coffee to come out and there was a line waiting to get the coffee. I ended up going back to my room and using the coffee pot there. There were no sugar substitutes and no flavored creamers. That is really the only complaint I have.

Staff was super helpful, fixed the TV, and was attentive to any needs we had.

Eggs were rubbery and choices were limited for breakfast; TV was difficult to use; location was a little run-down.

The staff was amazing and super friendly check in was a breeze. One girl was in training and she was so sweet we didn’t mind her taking time to ask questions. We were from out of town so I think that made it a bit more confusing.

Breakfast could have used more selection and kid friendly items. Maybe fresh fruits or fruitloops and maybe some sort of meat. I heard one family say a couple of their kids couldn’t eat anything because they couldn’t have dairy and all the items available contained milk or egg.

room and location were great, easy to reach and close to everything you need. Only 15min drive to cooper's rock, which is awesome to start hiking there early!

breakfast was ok but not that nice. Had to wait a bit (10mins) for checkout as staff were on smoking break.

the locations was convenient, the breakfast was good , the staff was

quiet and staff very nice and helpful.

We almost missed the entrance to the hotel. The sign should be out in the open more.

Extra Towels when needed. Staff tried to help give suggestions for plaes to eat...but there was no sheet available to know what was in the area. We did not want to do a chain. The receptionist was not local. Maybe a list of restaurants could be available even to take a picture with an phone. The Visitor Center was not open when we arrived. We chose Chinese Restaurant in the college area but it was a chain and it would have been nice to have had a sit down meal.

The freezer compartment of the refrigerator was packed with ice and difficult to get our blue ice to fit when you have 3 people in a room. I know staffing is an issue but I am not sure this is something that is even checked that much.

Night staff guys were very friendly. The hotel has a small "store" on hand that has food and snacks. The breakfast was good. Room was cozy enough. My son enjoyed the pool. I think this hotel was worth the rate I paid.

This seems to be a constant thing with hotels when I use the Booking.com app, they always give me the room next to the house keeping closets, gym/laundry or elevator. That's the only thing I didn't like. Those areas are always very noisy and busy. From now on, I'm going to try to request they not put me in those areas. But this isn't a negative reflection on this hotel, just something that happens when I book with the app.

The staff was amazing, friendly and very welcoming. I had called early in the morning to confirm that it was okay to bring my rabbit and they where more then happy to allow him. when we arrived they greeted as like family and where excited to see Nemo in his little back pack. when we had a issue with the room they where happy to solve the problem that best fit our needs. if your a coffee lover like me, they have fresh coffee 24/7. the breakfast was great and they have some of the best waffles and sausage gravy I have ever had. they also have the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. all around we had an amazing stay thanks to quality inn and there staff. It is bun bun approved
