SpringHill Suites Morgantown

Location of hotel was perfect as it was located en route to our destination. We arrived after 8pm and front desk clerk was extremely accommodating as we were traveling with toddlers and wanted to be separated from others as not to disturb other guests with little people noise. Room was very spacious and very clean.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as I had hoped. The mattress was worn and was broken down in the middle, otherwise the room was great.

- Spacious room, extra blanket available for the sofa bed - Good location, Sheetz gas station is a 2 min walk (great place for buying snacks, sandwiches..etc), Pizza hut and Kfc nearby, ALDI supermarket etc.

- Reception staff charged my credit even though i mentioned during check-in that my preference is to pay cash. - Noise easily travels from one room to another, it was new years so neighboring rooms were having a blast even after 1:00 am so it was a bit uneasy to sleep.

We really liked the layout of the suite, with the fridge and microwave and sink in a separate area of the living room, and the bedroom in a separate room from that. We also liked that the bathroom sink and large mirrors were outside the toilet/shower. The bed and pillows were comfy as well.

The room was clean and looked updated except for the tub/shower. It was truly awful. The bottom of the tub was concave and worn out to several different shades of gray/yuck. There were black marks running down the inside of the tub as well. It’s a shame, because everything else in the rooms was great. The breakfast was standard okay fare. No waffle machine tho.

Our room was perfect for our family and great price.

We were at softball fields all day and by the time we got back to the hotel and settled in nothing in the area was opened for dinner. Places that said open until 10p -closed by 9:30p. Our only option was to drive 30+ minutes for food or Sheetz.

The breakfast was pretty much standard fare. Scrambled eggs and bacon, cereal,oatmeal, etc. Waffles were only there on the weekend. Facilities were very clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

A handicapped room should have a walk in shower, vs. a tub you have to step over. While there were plenty of grab bars, it’s still difficult to negotiate. We had to request a rubber tub mat which wasn’t available for the first night, but was available for the second. The rubber tub mat should always be available for a handicapped room.

Great location. pretty good price for the money.

The only thing I did not like is that I didn’t have housekeeping in my room. I was there Thursday night until Monday morning. No services on Friday or Saturday. I know that housekeeping was off for Christmas, but the other two days…?

The breakfast was the best I've encountered in quite awhile. The rooms were beyond spacious, clean, and fresh.

The pool needs TLC. The paint on the pool floors is peeling, there's a whole in the wall and tile is missing, there was hair wads in the pool, and a funky smell.

nice rooms and breakfast. pool cold very noisy when we stayed with adults and children from large sports group loud and out of control. adults drinking in lobby and preteens running the halls at all hours disturbing people. one person at front desk did what they could

The breakfast was disappointing, didn't even eat it. Planned on it cuz when we reviewed the hotel, they showed eggs and bacon. They offered sausage sandwiches and a jalapeño cheese biscuit. The location was great, plenty of places to eat.

The layout of the room wasn't the best but it was okay. The toilet was to close to the shower.

We stayed in one of the king rooms with a pull-out, so it was really nice to have the separate sitting room space to hang out.

The cleanliness of the bathroom/shower left something to be desired. There were mold stains in the grout and the mildew ring in the toilet became increasingly more noticable throughout our stay.
