Motel 6-Baraboo, WI - Lake Delton

We were in the Dell for a 2 day event that kept us very busy--we had no time or interest in water parks or resort amenities. We needed a safe, clean, comfortable place to sleep for one night that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Motel 6 delivered. Our room was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable, and there was zero drama with check in and check out. As someone with allergies, I appreciated the fact that the flooring was vinyl plank instead of carpet. Water pressure in the shower was good and it was easy to set the right temperature. I noticed a laundry room on our floor but we didn't use it. We knew they didn't provide breakfast, so we paid a few extra bucks for a room with a microwave and mini fridge and that did the job nicely. There were also food and beverage vending machines in the hallway. Hot coffee was available in the lobby when I went downstairs at 5:30. Not far from the mother of all Kwik Trips, if you need a fancier coffee, a breakfast sandwich, or a no fee ATM. If you're looking for no frill lodging in Wisconsin Dells that isn't a dump, this is your place.

A box of Kleenex in the bathroom would have been nice. You will have to ask for an alarm clock at the desk if you want one. We just used our phones (there's a nice charging station on the bedside table).

This little motel is a find. It's clean, and the staff is friendly and competent. Good beds. For a motel next to a freeway, it is surprisingly quiet and feels very secure. It is clear that the staff cares about one's comfort and is ready to address any problems (there were none on our visit). There is an elevator.

It would be great to have coffee in the room--it's available near the front desk. The location is without charm. The outdoor pool was closed, so check out its availability if you are traveling with children who need to unwind.

Didn't have breakfast if there was one I didn't see it. The room was little which was very nice. Husband said I was snoring at like 6 am the fact that I slept well was good they didn't have a clock other then the one on the microwave and the towels were small but we didn't need big towels front desk lady was kinda straight to the point with us I almost felt like we were bothering her. It was quite at night which I appreciated ..the lay out of the motel was sure different. But it wasn't bothersome just different

Other than feeling like we were bothering the front desk by getting our key and towels for the pool she didn't seem busy idk

This Motel 6 was well priced and in much better condition than I anticipated. It was clean and the bed was much more comfortable than I anticipated. Convenient location to restaurants. Staff was extremely polite and helpful during check in and check out.

Trying to check in while having to talk through a glass window and a very loud vacuum running just down the hall was not very ideal. It was very hard to hear and understand what anyone was saying. I couldn't even hear myself talk. The AC was not on in the room when I got in there. I understand wanting to keep utilities down but when I come in off my motorcycle and it's 90 plus degrees outside, I want a cool room waiting for me. It wasn't much cooler in my room than it was outside.

Forgot to pack shampoo. Receptionist provided me with a complimentary packet. Had a good night‘s sleep in a very comfortable bed. Very clean room and was surprised to see a refrigerator and microwave.

Bedside table could have had a reading lamp with electrical outlet access for charging phone and tablet. Very narrow shower with small hole/crack circling drain. Drain location could be a trip hazard.

Clean room, fresh scent, hot water, close to parking, easy check in/out.

Staff verbalized room number in front of other guest, advised staff at checkout. Smokers at side doors should be farther away from entry door to lessen hallway smoke smell. Small tub with center drain causes toe/foot injuries...curved shower curtain might help.

Close to the casino. I was at this hotel about 3 yrs ago and appreciated the remodeling done to the rooms

Listening to chairs dragging across the floors in the rooms around us. I dribbled some water on the floor in the bathroom and when I wiped it up with a towel, the towel was black, suggesting that the floors had not been cleaned for awhile.

Shower was small and shower head was very low (placement) No hair dryer had to ask for it. No complementary soaps but not a big deal. Laminated floors made it louder than if there was carpeting in the room.

the room was clean and updated. Exceeded my expectations. The Bed was very comfortable and firm. There was only two pillows on the bed and they were very soft pillows.

The room had bare essentials. No shampoo, conditioner, lotion or hair dryer. Had to go back down to the front desk to get the items. There was only two towel sets in the bathroom.

We loved the location and enjoyed some time in the hot tub. We also didn't hear any other people after 9pm, which was very nice.

We were disappointed with the lack of mini fridge, causing some food we had to go bad, and the blankets were a sheet and what felt like a curtain? We're very lucky I brought my own blanket.
