Mai Charming Hotel and Spa

The best staff -- very polite and friendly. Excellent location. The room was very nice! Clean, quiet, bright, beautifully appointed room. I really liked that there was a table and comfortable padded chair to use my laptop. There was also a cute, comfy sofa! Clean, fresh bedsheets, comfortable mattress, extra blanket in closet. Nice lighting with an extra switch next to the bed; plenty of modern power outlets. Good bathroom and good housekeeping. Good wifi. Kudos to the owner for the thoughtful hospitality. OVERALL, could not have found better value with no compromises. From now it will be my first choice to stay in Hanoi! <3

If you are looking for an affordable stay in the middle of the old quarter, this small acvomodation would be a good choice Hotel helped us arrange a private car pick up from Hanoi airport USD18 per ride (can fit in 4 prrson)

Rain shower head not working. 2nd stay has been charged for the same price but been given a smaller room. Beware of the timung when thr hotel help you with thr airport pick up or drop off arrangement. Both of the drivers were 30 mins late for both og my pick up and drop off time to airport

I have stayed at Mai Charming a number of times before (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). It has always been my preferred hotel in Hanoi for location and value for money. Like a lot of hotels, Mai Charming is trying to rebuild its operations after Covid. The excellent breakfast that was previously provided is no longer available but I am sure that it is just a matter of time. The staff have always been helpful and I fully recommend this hotel to other visitors to Hanoi.

it is very convenience at old quarter. many tourist location are walking distance, staffs are very friendly and helpful. foods and shopping are just next or the same street. we gotten a room with balcony and we are so pleased and happy to view the street! if you need any travel package you can contact me louis he has the best and cheaper price for you!

water heater a bit slow, but can wait. not a big issue.

This hotel is in the prime location. Everything is easily available from this hotel (tour booking, street food, restaurant, tourist places & Beer corner) We reached the place early morning, our rooms were not ready. The staff was helpful to refresh, store our luggages & temp arrangement till the room was ready. Overall the the place and staff were very helpful :)

Nothing to mention about the negative thing.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, organised our tour to Sapa at late notice and transport to and from the airport. The lady at reception was very attentive and ensured our Sapa tour was good the entire time. The AC staying on without us being in the room was a major blessing each time we got back to the room - it hit different.

Shower didn’t drain too well so the whole bathroom got quite wet, minor though.

location is great and price was reasonable. Helpful staffs. They also allowed me to take shower in other sister hotel nearby even after checked out (before my night transport to Sapa). 2 female staffs were very helpful in this sister hotel especially Vain on providing required info. regards to itinerary and airport transfer issues etc.

great location and good price! really nice people on the front desk, very helpful with any questions I’ve had during my stay. Beer street is a 5 minute walk away, highly recommend this is my second visit to Hanoi and would definitely stay here again

The location is good, the price is good and the staff are very kind, helpful and attentive.

the double bed was two single beds pushed together, so there is a dip in the middle. there was mould on the bathroom and the air conditioning could use a deep clean.

Great location and fantastic staff. reception were always friendly and helpful. It was also very easy to book tours and ongoing tickets from the front desk. I would definitely stay there again.
