Old Town Guest House

Lucy is an amazing hostess. She really looks after you. She helps so much. She is so kind and friendly. She helped us book tickets and tours. She does nice breakfast and coffee. We arrived late and it was dark. She came to meet us at the taxi to guid us to the guest house. She also brought us water and walk us to a shop. She helped with any questions we had. And came to see us off when leaving. Rooms are basic but you have everything you need and it's enough. Hot running water, clean bedding comfortable bed, kettle. For the price and what you pay to stay here you can't complain. Cheap and cheerful. It's not perfect, but they care.

The lady of the house is a great help and very friendly. The eggs with vegetables are amazing: probably the best we had during our trip. The location is perfect and you’ll got great value for your money. It’s simple but has everything you need. We had a small fridge which we enjoyed. She gave us really reasonable prices for the tours. It saved us time figuring out the best schedule, since she helped planning. So we got to see all we wanted without loosing time waiting or unnecessary extra overnights. We could call or send questions via WhatsApp when needed. Would stay here again.

We had a cold shower but it did woke us up. Room is a little small, but one of the two rooms we had had an extra bed so we could put our backpacks on the spare bed.

The owner was very welcoming and helped us with some information regarding the timings and famous places. She even arranged a cab for airport in very affordable fare. The rooms were clean and AC and hot water both were available throughout the stay.

Not a dislike but finding the location can be tricky as it's in a narrow alley and there was pipeline work going on during our stay, luckily we didn't had any trolley bags else it would have been very difficult.

The staff are lovely and helpful, the breakfast was amazing, all of the facilities worked well and we booked our trip to Cat Ba and Ha Long Bay with the hotel - very helpful and gave really good advice for backpacking/roadtrip style of holiday.

The room we received was not as nice as presented on the photo, it could do with a fresh lick of paint. Apart from that, the place was fantastic and right in the heart of old quarter Hanoi.

This guest house is everything you need for a short stay in Hanoi! We stayed 3 nights here and Lucie the host was extremely accommodating to all our needs (this included a trip to Ha Long bay and a great breakfast every morning). Would definitely recommend to anybody looking at stopping in the heart of the Old Quarter.

This isn’t a negative but finding this property can be quite challenging due to it being down a backstreet because google maps struggles to locate it. If in doubt though ask the locals and they will direct you

Very helpful staff! Easy communication with the owner! They clean the room upon request. They provide a kettle that we use to boil our drinking water. Easy access to the lake and other establishments. They can help in booking a taxi to the airport at a very reasonable price. There was a construction along the walkway during our stay but they made sure we get help with our luggage. Construction was finished even before we left the guesthouse.

Hotel is situated in old town district close to central city. Lots of restaurants and shops of all sorts close by. Walking distance to many sites. Staff friendly and helpful.

Hanoi is a very busy heavily populated city with many hotels and guest houses, including this one, situated down small narrow back alleys that cars and buses cannot park near.It is sometimes difficult, on first arriving, to find the hotel. Especially late at night.

The Guest House was excellent value for money Lucy was very helpful, particularly with arranging tour and transport bookings at a very reasonable cost Considering the room rate the room had all the facilities that I required (En suite toilet, A/c, WiFi, Kettle, Comfortable bed)

Nice little room in a quiet location, within walking distance to the old town. Great for our 1 night stay in Hanoi. It was clean and tidy, aircon and shower worked well. Balcony very nice and big. Elevator, so no need to carry bags up stairs.

One small thing: There was a fan provided on the balcony, but no socket to plug it in so it was way too hot to sit out there.

This hotel is very central. Everything in the old quarter was easy to access from here. The owner was helpful and made bookings for us when we needed help. Breakfast was great too. While the facilities are basic, the bed is comfy, and everything is clean. We only required a place to put our head as we were out exploring all day, and this hotel was perfect for that.
